Matt's coming home today!!!
OK, tonight. His plane won't be in Dallas until after 8:00 and after the drive back to Waco and visiting with his mom he plans to come over. He said he'd bring me Johnny Depp, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Some
salt & pepper shakers would be awesome though. I won't hold my breath for that either. But having his particular brand of crazy around will be great, and I can't wait to hear the details about him meeting Robin Williams. I can just about imagine that one. They are two of a kind.
Johnny Depp was the first famous person he met after moving to NYC though, followed by Ethan Hawke. He recently dated the girl from the first Mission Impossible movie, I have no idea who she is since I've never seen the movie. You've got to get your face out there in their business though
if you hope to get your name known.
We have a new great-nephew who was born on David's birthday, November 16th. He is Signe & Dave's newest grandson. Unfortunately his daddy, Chris, is in the reserves and is being deployed to Iraq.
David's cousin Kathy is also being deployed to Iraq.
She has been in the Army for 13 years now. Kathy's sister, Sonja, was my lifeline when we lived in Ohio. I don't know what I would have done without her. And now her youngest son, Jared, has joined the Army and reports for duty in January, and is expected to deploy to Iraq. Kadi... I don't know if you've
ever been to my page or not, but if so...Thank You from the bottom of my heart for convincing Richard to not join the armed services.
A little piece of me dies with each soldier we lose, and every time the name isn't "Dustin Losak" the relief I feel is so overwhelming. And now to add all of these others.

David started his new job at Gulfstream Monday. So far he hasn't done any real work, just orientation type things and built one part.
They went to FL for a couple of days first to visit David's parents.
We only see them for a couple of days every 3-4 years. While they were there they continued to have van trouble but they were able to make it to GA anyway. Jack & Faye, that's David's parents, took them to see the manatees before they left. I would have enjoyed
that myself. Josh really enjoyed the beach once they got to Brunswick and called me while they were waiting for the lighthouse to open. Brunswick consists of either 4 islands or 3 islands and a penninsula. Either way, it sounds pretty cool. It has a lot of history
and plantation houses.
I found Blue dead in the garage a couple of nights ago. I miss you both very much my boys.

David and Josh are on their way. If you've somehow missed the past couple of months of drama, they are moving to
Brunswick, Georgia for a year, where David has a job contracting with Gulfstream. Or David is gone for a year, with Josh it could go less or more
depending on whether he finds work, etc. They will be going to Florida first to see David's parents since his mom isn't doing well. Then on to Savannah for orientation before going to Brunswick.
This will be the first time Josh has seen the ocean. It's too bad he is allergic to water. I'm not even joking. Oh well, he can still enjoy the beach. You know, when it gets warm.
and later the same day . . .
They broke down about 12 miles this side of Mississippi. Normally this wouldn't be too unexpected if it wasn't for the fact that it was
the part that we just had replaced two days ago. You'll notice I said "had replaced" rather than just replaced. As in took it somewhere and had it done. As in they did not put heat paste on the part and it went out again.
Auto Zone was willing to deliver a new part to where they were broken down, David fixed it in less than 10 minutes and they are back on the road again. They were making good time and doing good on money.

Jason has disappeared. The last time any of us saw him he was laying in the clearing near the residential area down the road, so we're guessing that the dog catcher
got him and that he is no longer with us since he had such a bad skin condition. I really loved this guy and miss him very much.
Do you have this page bookmarked? Or did you come here through Ludlow's Place? I've changed the look a little of my main page at Ludlow's Place, including a notice of when this page was last updated. I will be changing it up a bit more in the coming week or so too I think. At least that's what I'm planning.
This larger text is by special request. hehe Enjoy, my friend.
