December 26, 2007 - Wednesday

No rain, not terribly cold, nice day!

I got up this morning to a quiet house and something amazing hit me. I didn't have a headache. It was the most wonderful thing! In fact, for the majority of the day, I didn't have a headache at all. It came back tonight, just before I sat down to write this, but the daytime was painfree. Hurray.

I watched the news, and then I went on-line, read email, and surfed up You-Tube to see the Queen's Christmas Message. It was wonderful for me to see it again. It's been so long since I saw it. I watched it all, and I admit to getting a little verklempt at times.

I watched Poirot again today. It was another one that I hadn't seen. I rather enjoyed it. I didn't guess whodunnit. I ate a lovely lunch of leftover chicken, salad and some rye bread. It was great, really.

Around 4 pm I decided to go to S-Mall and have coffee. It was late, but I wanted to get myself out of the apartment. I biked off to the mall and checked out the hundred yen store and the video store. I didn't get anything in the latter, but I got some cotton thread and some beads in the former. I'm thinking to make some coasters for our apartment. If I can figure out how to get the beads on the thread, that is. I went to S-Mall and had a cafe latte. I started reading Atonement, a novel that some friends had given me. The writing was beautiful and I didn't really want to zoom through it at my usual pace. I stopped reading after a while and then went home.

I got home about 20 minutes before Fumihiko. We chatted for a while, and then he asked me if I wanted to go out for dinner. It was fine by me, so we went out to Moundon, the Korean restaurant we go to. We had a really good meal, but now I have scary dragon breath. I had kimchee and garlic. Yikes. I didn't eat a lot of kimchee though. I'm too scared!

We came straight home afterwards and had a quiet evening in. We watched Desperate Housewives at 11. Oh my goodness! Lynnette did..., and Gabrielle went on a date with...., and Orsen and his ex-wife .....Ahh! You didn't think I'd spoil it for you did you?? Not if I can help it!

That was about it for my night. It was a pretty good day, and until about an hour ago it was painfree. Hurray. Anyway, I'm off to bed now. Night night!
