Kenny Arena is a big player who is known for breaking-up the pocessions of the opposing team. He is the son of the US National Team coach, Bruce Arena.

He played for the US U-20 team in the FIFA Youth World Cup where he started two games. He scored the US's lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Ukraine.

In 2003, he started 16 of the 17 games he played in for Virginia. He recored three assists and scored one goal in 2003. He was named to the Second Team All-ACC.
