Shephard's is located on the old Asheville/Hendersonville Highway, just south
of Fletcher.
William nick named 'Billy'. Billy died in auto accident. He is buried with his
father, in the family plot. Also killed in the accident was Billies girl
friend, Linda Marie Bridgeman. After the accident, both families bought
adjoining plots so that the two could be buried near each other.
