Nimrod served in 74th Battalion, 33rd Militia Dist., 1813 from Wayne Co., Ga.
1814 and 1815, served as mounted spy in Wayne Co. Militia under Capt. Richard
Walker at Fort Wayne, to defend the frontier against Indian attack. Was 1st
Lieutenant from 23 March 1834 to 3 October 1836, and was living in 451st
Militia District of Wayne Co., Ga.
Served in Seminole Indian War, mustered in at Deep Creek, Jacksonville, Fl., 19
July 1837 and mustered out 19 December 1837.
1840 Nimrod was back in Wayne Co., but by 1850 returned to Baker Co. (then
Columbia Co.) Fl.
