Illness: Complications following surgery for Acute Peptic Ulcer and
inflammation from Diverticurlous, improper medical diagnosis and non-
treatment for over fifty years of multiple health problems such as
nasal and food allgeries, asthma, and loss of teeth thru dental disease.
Gladys was malnurished and unable to regain any recovery of health
and after surgial removal of part of a damaged area of her intestine
following accidental puncture of the area during routine examination
of protoscoping by her doctor. After surgery her kidneys shut down for
several days, but regained function, however she also had her left lung
collapse. She was given morphine until she lost the struggle to live.
!OCCUPATIONS: Graduated Droans Business School, Greenville, South Carolina.
Employment Bookeeper for Real Estate office and Ralph Edwards Hardware in
Hendersonville, North Carolina. Secretarial Work in Deerfield, Florida at
Western Union.
!HOBBIES: Crafts, flower arrangements,etc.; sewing; roller-skating, dancing,
hiking/picnics; USO volunteer and active in church activities.

Reuben's second wife was his first cousin Susanna Martin. Reuben's mother
Letitia Dalton-Moore and Susanna Martin's mother Rachel Dalton were sisters.
