Chinese Hanyang M1888
Commission Carbine

| I saw this piece whilst on a
visit to the SOG retail store in Lebanon, OH. It was in a corner, unmarked
and un-priced. I asked the price. The clerk made a call. After he was done
he asked me to make an office. I offered $15. It was all mine.
I have a M1888 Hanyang rifle that I shoot, but this
carbine scares me. The rear sight base is not attached to the barrel, but
is held in place by the hand guard. The whole thing rattled when shaken.
Very scary...
