M1909 Argentine Mauser

7.65x54 Argentine

This is one clean mauser. I bought it from Pataskala Shooters Supply at a gunshow in Dayton in 1999. It's very clean, though I suspect it's been worked over after importation. Still, it's a fine specimen and looking at it makes it obvious why these were so prized for custom rifle work. The strong action, high quality steel & hinged floor plate made a good starting point for a gunsmith.

This one has an unissued green Argentinian sling as well.
