I'm told these are hard to find, especially in good condition. Most all had been shortened and rechambered to 8mm Mauser. This one came to me from fellow collector Mr. Wall. I took it to the range with handloads formed from 7mm Mauser. I had to stop after 3 rounds, due to signs of excessive pressure in the fired cases. But, as you can see to the left, the 3 shot group at 50 yards is promising.

Now I'm back to the drawing boards to work up a safe, reasonable load for this rifle.

This is a decent example, with matching numbers (see stock/receiver# below)
