Virginia. (Reference Spotsylvania Co., Va., Bk E, p 189)Daniel was granted 395 acres on Sandy River and Turkey Creek, Halifax
County, Virginia, in Nov. 1752.

Township, Morgan County, Indiana. He was an enrolling officer in Kentucky
during the War of 1812 and town trustee for one term in Indiana. He learned
brick laying skills in Mooresville.
Had eleveen children; ten of whom are 4 sons and 6 daughters living. He was a
member of the Christian Church and a democrat.

affore maid being in perfect health of body and of Sound and disposing mind

there by be the better prepared to leave this world When it Shall pleas God to
call hence. I do therefore make and Publish this my last will and Testament
in the Manner and form following that is to Say I further wish and desire that

1822 mentions wife Sarah and children: John Prewit, decd.; Elisha Prewit,decd;
David Prewit; Henry Preit; Mastin Prewit; Mary Boyd; Sarah Ham; and James
Prewit ( B-131; and Box14, p.7). Mary Emblem to act as guardian for heirs of
John Prewit (Bk 29, Vol. 2, p. 131).

to him on the estate f said David Pruett, deceased..Witness: Levi McCollum,
Clerk of or said Court at office the first Monday of Novemeber 1854, and in the
seventy ninth year of our independence."
