- Added reviews for Ghosthouse, Silent Night, Deadly Night and Uncle Sam.
- Last weekend, we initiated Scaredy Cat into the SSMS. Shut Up!, who has been in since the beginning, finally came up with a name. It's Shut Up!
- I'll be adding some ratings from Shut Up! (Silent Night, Deadly Night, Jack Frost, Friday the 13th VIII, and Happy Bithday to Me.)

- Important news to report concerning horror movies. There are currently 3 movies that we have all been anticipating for quite some time.
- The first one that we'll be able to see is Halloween 8, which will feature Jamie Lee Curtis, Busta Rhymes, and Tyra Banks. Filming is finished and it should be released later this year. There are already plans to begin work on Halloween 9, as well.
- Jason X, the 10th volume in the Friday the 13th series, should be released in early 2002. It takes place in the year 2455 when Earth is no longer populated. Some scientists come to Earth to visit, find Jason's body, and take him home. They're billing it as "the future of horror." Should be... interesting.
- And last, but definitely not least, Return to Sleepaway Camp supposedly will begin filming soon. We'll keep you posted.
- Added reviews for Happy Birthday To Me, Prom Night, Prom Night III and Prom Night IV.
- Big Bubba has changed names to Grossy Gracie.

- Happy Friday the 13th!!
- Holy crap, we're meeting tonight!
- This page has gone 3 months without being touched, but that should change soon. I think we just got so backed up (I had like 18 movies to review) that we just didn't know where to start. We'll probably just skip most of those and watch them again when we're ready to write the reviews. Either way, expect updates within the next week...

- I've been lazy, but so has everyone else. Kannibal finally sent me his profile!
- Dad's Sticky Axe typed yet another review for The Mommy 2! I can't get people to review movies we watched 2 weeks ago, yet one of the worst movies we've watched yet now has 3 freaking reviews.
- Rev. Blood has chimed in on Sleepy Hollow High and The Mommy 2 (there we go with The Mommy 2, again!!) and Blackie Woo commented on Sleepaway Camp III.
- That's all for now. I'd like to thank everyone for checking this site out. I put the counter up 2 weeks ago and we've had nearly 500 hits. The site probably won't be anything special until near the end of the summer, so keep checking back. Thanks.

- I took the story off of the front page, and added a picture of the great Michael Myers. I may rotate the picture out every so often. Or just add more. I don't know. E-mail me (coolio@ssmsociety.com) with any suggestions.
- We watched Nightmare on Elm Street III, Friday the 13th VI, and Sleepaway Camp II (again). Reviews for the first two should be up soon. And, yes, we're still waiting for Rev. Blood's Valentine review, as well as my Prom Night. And Kannibal's Halloween VI, for that matter! I know that one's written, just not typed. I have Kannibal's profile, and I'll post that soon.
- More future reviews: Friday the 13th's I-V, The Forest, Happy Birthday To Me, Nightmare on Elm Street I... Yeah, one day we'll get to all of these. They've all been watched and stats have been recorded. It's all in the hands of time now...
- The SSMS is proud to welcome its newest member: Screaming Banshee! A profile and some comments will be posted as soon as I have them.
