I couldn't tell you when the tradition of making Predictions on New Year's Eve came from. Somehow, it was decided that on New Year's Eve sometime before the Dick Clark dropped his ball or whatever that all the little Donehoos and their friends would gather and make a list of 10 predictions of events they thought were going to happen within the next year.

Before Al Gore's invention, the Internet, we just would seal the predictions up in an envelope and look at them next year at New Year's. Now we are able to post everyone's predictions from this year, as well as previous years. You are also able to make your predictions on-line this year.
