Obituary: Mrs. J.W. Robinson; Sumter - Mrs. Sue Horne Robinson, widow of J.W.
Robinson, died Tuesday at the Orangeburg Methodist Home. Born in Lee County,
She was a daughter of the late William E. and Mary Ellen Boyce (should be
Horne), and spent most of her life in Summerton. She was twice married, first
to the late Eldridge James, and after his death to the late J.W. Robinson.
Survivors incude two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Funderburk of Cayce and Mrs. Anna Mac
Holland of the Methodist Home in Orangeburg, and three brothers, Kenneth of
Jupiter, Fla., Yancey E. of West Palm Beach, Fla., and George Horne of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted from Shelley-Brunson Funeral Home at 2 P.M.
Friday. Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery near Summerton, South
Carolina.
