Father of:
John Boyce was a Rev. Soldier, having entered the country from Ireland in 1765.
John Boyce of Newberry, S.C., served under Col. James Williams at the Battle of
Kings Mountain. He had served earlier under his brother, Alexander, and had
been wounded in attempting to take Savannah. His property had been destroyed.
He had been captured and escaped hanging by the Torries. He also served in the
battles at Blackstock's Plantation, Cowpens, and Eutaw Springs. He lost three
fingers in a combat with "Bloody Bill" Cunningham. John Boyce' son, Honorable
Kerr Boyce, married Amanda Johnson.

Notes:
On the 1850 census, in addition to his wife and children, Jacob has John
Parrott, age 73, blacksmith SC, his wife Edna age 50 SC, and Martha age 11, Ga.
Jacob served as Private in the Indian War, under Capt. Aaron Jernigan in 1840.
1819 moved to Appling Co., settled on lot 415, 4th dist, Little Satilla River.
Later sold and moved to lot 67, 3rd dist of Wayne Co. near Hortense Ga.
Jacob's will directed that he be buried in the old family burying grounds at
Samuel M. Pearson's.
Jacob Raulerson will dtd 22 Apr 1857, prob. 2 Nov 1857, listed children and
relatives. Russell Raulerson and Samuel M. Pearson, administrators.
Jacob disposed of his real estate prior to his death. On 5 Jun 1856, his son
Wade purchased lot #130, and on 22 April 1857, lot #68. Wade received part of
his fathers estate on 30 April 1860. on 30 April 1861, a resident of Volusia
County, Wade received the final settlement of his fathers estate from Russell
Raulerson, his half brother, and Samuel M. Pearson, his brother in law.
Jacob served in militia during War of 1812, as Lieutenant in Wayne Co. Militia
in 1813, and as a mounted spy under Capt. Richard Walker of Fort Wayne, Wayne
Co. frontier, in winter of 1814-1815.
Raulerson Cemetary located 10 miles east of Blackshear, Wayne Co., Georgia.
On 1850 census, Jacob's wife name was Mary. Jacob's three children by his
second wife were living in the house. Also in his household were three
others, John Perrott age 73 born SC, blacksmith; Edna Parrott age 51 born SC;
Martha Parrott age 11 born GA. Nearby was the family of James Raulerson,
Jacob's son by his first wife.

1856-Jacob, Wade's Father began disposing of his Real Estate. Administrators
of Jacob's estate were: Wade's half-brother Russell Raulerson and his brothe-
in-law Samuel M. Pearson.
1856-5 June, Wade purchased lot #130.
1857-22 April, Wade purchased lot #68.
1857-22 Oct., Jacob has died, Wade resides in Wayne county with Shadrack and
Elizabeth Anderson until 1860.
1860-30 April, After Jacob's death, Wade received part of his Father's Estate.
Wade moved to Volusia county, Florida to be with his half-brother, James Forte
and his cousin, Mathew (son of Nimrod Raulerson).
1860-15 Nov., Wade marries at the courthouse in Enterprise, Fla., to Catherine
Frances Hart, daughter of Mary Ann Higginbotham and William B. Hart. License
issued 7 Nov. and marriage performed by Rev. G.M. Long, recorded 28 Feb. 1861.
1865- Wade enlisted at Gainseville Fl, with his nephew Wm. T. Raulerson (son of
James Fort Raulerson) in Company F, 7th Florida Infantry. He was paroled in May
1865 at Waldo, Florida. He applied for pension, he stated that he served with
the 5th Florida Battalion, Cavalry,CSA..under Capt.Starkes. The Florida Dept.
of Pensions was advised by the Adjutant General's Office of Washington, D.C.
that W. H. Raulerson did not appear on the rolls for Co. H, 5th Batt. CSA, but
Prisoner of War records showed he surrendered 20 May 1865 at Waldo,Florida and
paroled on the same date. He was awarded pension #2836, 28 Dec.,1903 of $96 per
per year; wife Sevena is mentioned application #A, Hillsborough Co., 1903, 13
pages.
1877- 5 May- Wade purchased 80.96 acres from the government in Volusia Co.,Fla.
1880-20 Nov, he purchased 40.48 acres adjacent to his original 80 acres.
1898- 6 May, Wade's wife Catherine dies, burial in Geneva Cemetery,Geneva, Fla.
1906-22 April, Wade marries Sevena Hart in Umatilla, Fla. sister of Catherine.
1906-26 Aug., Wade dies and is buried beside Catherine Hart in Geneva, Florida.
1906- 16 Nov., S.C. Raulerson,left with nine children of her former husband and
not remarried files for a widow's pension under Wade's pension #2836. Approved.
1907-29 May, she recevied $120 per year & 1913- 1 July an increase to $150.
Wade was buried beside his first wife Catherine Hart, Geneva Cemetery, Geneva,
Seminole County. Burial place of other two wives unknown. Mary, the longest
living child of Wade Raulerson, lived to age 105 in Mims, Florida.
By 1870 James Forte and Nimrod moved to Burnell in St. John's Co., Florida.
Both are buried in Espanola Cemetery, located in St. John's Co., Florida.
Marriage records in Geneva and Umatilla.
