November 2006 : Iron Wolf webzine is back after having
passed some times to sleep in a crypt.... News interviews and news
reviews will be added on the site soon...
The past : Well, for those who want some informations
about the IRON WOLF story, here it is :
At first, IRON WOLF was a four pages newsletter published
every three months (in french language) during four issues, which
included some interviews, some articles and a lot of lp/cd/demo reviews.
Newsletter 1 was out in September 2000, 2 in December 2000, 3 in March
2001 and 4 in June 2001.
As the french response was very poor (not surprising,
considering most of the french guys follow the trend promoted by
the big mags and the big labels), I decided to publish the paper
in english language.
So newsletter five came in english (it was out in September
2001)... and then I decided to go for a eighteen pages fanzine,
written in english (issue 6 came in January 2002, 7 in July 2002,
and 8 in February 2003)... I tried three issues like that... Those
who bought them were really supportive and liked the 'zine (thank
you !), but unfortunately, there were not enough readers to continue
the story...
The paper 'zine died but not IRON WOLF which has become
a website, containing some of the old stuff, and from time to time,
you can find new reviews and new interviews...
