two times. on August 7th they are in their own home. on August 19th they
are found in the Merdith Morgan family home on page 247. Probably James
Has passed away,and they are visiting..
1870: Susan was keeping house for Lewis and rest of children,
Lewis having taken over role of farmer after his father died.
Residing in the home is Law student, John Reid, age 25, born Scotland.
1877: Susan Dalton is listed among members of the Beulah Baptist Church
1880: Susan Dalton(57) and three children Lottie(26), Martha(20), John H.(13),
living together/no spouse listed.
Susan Ann Merritt may have had two sisters, Manerva Merritt Beddingfield, and
Serepita Merritt McDowell.
