his family about 1767. 1774 granted land on the waters of Scoteys Fork of Sandy
Creek (Sandys River), in Craven County. In 1785 received second land grant at
the fork of Broad and Little Rivers, Camden Dist. By 1793, had sold land and
moved to Elbert County Georgia.
