prior to Sep 1, 1863. Returned from desertion on 23 Apr. 1864, and was
court-martialed. Returned to duty in May-Jun, 1864, and present or accounted
for until h deserted to the enemy on or about 8 Mar, 1865. Confined at
Washington D.C., until released on or about 10 Mar 1865, after taking the Oath
of Allegiance.
1870: Wm. and Mary have Estate value $80 & $100 with Dorothy(21), Franklin(18),
Lycurus(16), Letty Ann(13), Edie A.(10), and James Y.(3) living at home.
