One of Australia's most popular primetime television programs, the award-winning A Country Practice is a drama series about the residents of the small country town of Wandin Valley, New South Wales. This warm series focuses on the town's medical clinic, hospital, veterinary practice, and pub.

Running on Channel 7 from 1981 till 1993, and then on Channel 10 in 1994, A Country Practice featured many Australian actors and actresses who went on to become household names including Georgie Parker (All Saints), Brett Climo (Snowy River: The McGregor Saga), and Claudia Black (Farscape and Stargate SG-1).
