Lost
Eyes open. A man runs through a jungle to a beach and discovers a plane crash. Bewildered survivors wandering the beach of a deserted island. Screaming.
That was the opening scene to the J.J. Abrams (creator of Alias and Felicity) 2004 hit TV show Lost. Thrown right in the middle of the drama along with the characters, we discovered the island along with the survivors, and all the mysteries therin: the mysterious French lady, the Others, a hatch... As one question was answered, more arose in its place. Flashbacks, flash fowards, time travel, sideways universe... the mysteries were endless and kept us guessing until the end of the 6th and final season (and then some).
We laughed and cried with the characters of Jack (Matthew Fox—Party of Five), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Sawyer (Josh Holloway), Locke (Terry O'Quinn—Alias, Earth 2 among others), Sayid (Naveen Andrews—Bride and Prejudice), Claire (Emilie de Ravin—Roswell) and everyone. We mourned their losses (no one was safe) and rejoiced with their joys, and willinging joined them on the rollercoaster of the 6 seasons.
