Wheel of Fire Characters

There are several characters that appear in the Wheel of Fire fanfic series. Here is a general list of the major and minor players in the game. I have to warn you now, that what follows may be SPOILERS! Underlined names have character sketches available.

The Ranma 1/2 Cast

Major Characters

Ranma Saotome. Ranma is still the sure martial artist he always was, and still terrible at relationships. He would live and die for Akane, if necessary, but for no one else. He believes in his abilities fully, confident he can handle each and every situation thrown at him. However, as he'll soon find out, that attitude may lead down the road to disaster....

Akane Tendo. Ranma's fiancee, who, by the end of the manga, believes Ranma loves her. She is the one who keeps all parties in check; she alone wouldn't let anyone touch her fiancee. Still kind in demeanor, yet still clumsy at feminine pursuits.

Ukyo Kuonji. Ranma's other fiancee, and childhood friend. For months she's been dreading the day when Ranma would be forced to decide who he would marry, and the choice he made was the wrong one in her eyes. However, in the wake of the successful attack the others made at Ranma's wedding, Ukyo is about to undertake several startling changes in her life, for better or for worse!

Shampoo. Stubborn as ever, Shampoo would like nothing better to make Ranma hers alone, destroying the opposition in any way possible. After the close call at Ranma's wedding, the Chinese Amazon's not going to hold back her most devious plans yet....

Tatewaki Kuno. If the ones you love turn their back on you, there is nothing left but death. To that end, Tatewaki Kuno races to complete his mastery over the invincible Chinese Phoenix Sword to destroy Ranma once and for all... perhaps at the cost of his life!

Kodachi Kuno. To the one character in Ranma 1/2 that truly understands the meaning of living, life really sucks. However, unlike her brother, she does not welcome death, but continues to live as she did before, yet burdened with the idea that she would spend her life alone, without love.

Mousse. The Chinese acrobat must make a decision in his life that will decide the fates of the rest of the Amazon tribe; would he do it for their sake, or for his own?

Ryoga Hibiki. Ryoga's life has taken a turn for the better as he proposes to Akari, his true love. He believes Akane to be in capable hands under Ranma, and thus the years-long feud between Ranma and Ryoga is finally over.

Soun Tendo. Father of the Tendo sisters and Genma's friend.

Ling-ling and Lung-lung. (Anime Origin) Disillusioned with tribal traditions, these twins absolutely refuse to get involved with Ranma anymore, seeing how it was too difficult to get him to cooperate before.

Natsume and Kurume. (Anime Origin) They return to fight for the dojo, only to find that it's too late for that. Instead, they ask a favor of Akane....

Yamata no Orochi. The Eight-Headed Dragon of myth and legend. The Mirror of Yata's seal was not absolute; every ten years the Orochi can enter the world when the seal is at its weakest, but only with a great deal of chi energies. It is called the "Reunion." Since Akane defeated Orochi's physical form, it is no longer suitable for a host, and thus he needs to find another strong body to use.
