Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a production of 20th Century Fox Film Corporation.
In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.Buffy the Vampire Slayer was originally a comedy movie that wasn't all that popular, and only main draw was the fact that Luke Perry (Dylan, BH 90210) was in it.However, in 1997 Joss Whedon created a spin-off television series that was slightly darker than the movie, and a lot more popular. After being expelled from her old school in LA, Buffy and her mother moved to Sunnydale, California, where they hoped that Buffy would stay out of trouble. Only that wasn't to be. Buffy found that she had a new watcher, Mr. Giles, the school librarian, and almost as soon as she arrived, a student was found dead, drained of blood and a bite mark on his neck. Buffy soon found that she was living on the Mouth of Hell. Armed with her stake, her Watcher, and her new "Slayerette" friends: Willow, Xander, Cordelia, Oz and Angel... Anya, Tara and Spike... (eventually known as "Scoobies"); Buffy set about to do what she was destined to do: Slay. Of course, there were some interesting adventures along the way. Like the Slayer falling in love with a vampire or twonow there's an interesting concept. Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran for 7 seasons, until 2003.   In 1999 there was a spin-off series called Angel.
