1870: Robert and with his family were living near the family of his
father, James Forte Raulerson.
Robert with his parents moved from Nassau County to Volusia County, then later
to St. Johns County. By 1870 Robert returned to Volusia County where he
remained. Robert served in the Civil War. His widow applied for Pension, 20 Mar
1919 in Seville, Fl. Her application stated that Robert was home on furlough
when the war ended, and did not receive a discharge. She did not identify his
unit. She stated that she was born in N.C., had living in Florida from 1854
throught 1919, except for 1854 when she had lived in Georgia. Her application
was supported by affidavit from J.H. Purdom and James F. Hull, both of Volusia
County, stateing that Robert served at Camp Fenging (Finegan).
