*Friendship Baptist Church was formed in 1838, three years after David was
buried in this little side area. Could this have been a Dalton family burial
site.
Grave site is of very old stones, most unmarked, located in a small clearing
off from the main cemetery. This cemetery was in Buncombe at the time of David's
burial. Henderson was formed in 1838, and included this area. In 1847 newly
formed Polk county included the cemetery area. There are approximately thirty
unreadable stones in the site.
