Carolina, Princeton University, Union Theological Seminary in Richmond. 1847
licensed by Orange Presbytery, North Carolina. Ordained by Concord Presbytery
in 1848. Supply and Pastor of Bethany and Tabor churches, and missionary in
Anson County, 1848-1852. Taught school in Madison 1851-1858.

age 23, laborer.
On the 1860 census, P.H. is a Minister, with an estate valued at 5000 & 8500.
He and his family are living near the families of Onslow Bullock, Johnson
Hedgecock, William Burns and William Barbee. Living in the house is E. M.
Dierson, age 75, born N.C., laborer.

who could be the wife of Patrick. Patrick is married to Sallie, age 59, in the
1860 census. Sarah could also be a widow of another Leonard, and remarried to
Patrick prior to 1860.
On the 1860 census, Patrick and his family were living near the families of
Alexander K., Richard H., and Martha Leonard. Patrick had an estate of $1000,
and $2350, and was born in Virginia.
