Building Draft Rules Standard
Magic: the Gathering Rules apply. Deck
Construction For this variant you will need to
construct three of your own booster pack. They must include 1 rare, 3
uncommons, and 11 commons. You will turn in the three handmade booster
packs to the head judge. The head judge will wrap them up so no one may
see the contents (it is best to use old booster pack wrappers for this).
Then hand them out to all the players at random. Make sure that you
don’t hand the second booster pack out until all of the first pack has
been drafted to insure no one looks through the second and third booster
pack before hand. From there continue play like a normal booster
draft. Sideboard The
cards you don’t use from the draft become your sideboard. Mulligan Rules Standard
“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant. Before
each game begins, a player may, for any reason, reshuffle and redraw his
hand, drawing one less card. This may be repeated as often as the player
wishes, until he has no cards left in his and. After the participant,
who plays first, mulligans as often as he likes, the decision of whether
to mulligan passes to the other player. Once a player passes the
opportunity to mulligan, that player may not change his mind.
