Cutthroat Rules This variant is a three player game. This game is played two players
against one. The two players have a combined life total of 40 and the
single player has a life total of 20. The turn sequence for this variant rotates between both teams. When it is
the two players turn they both roll a dice. Who ever rolls the highest
takes the turn then it goes back to the one player team. Whenever one player on the two player team takes damage from a global
source they both take damage. For example if the one man team Earthquakes for 2 points, each player would take two damage (the one man
team would take 2 and the two player team would take 2 each for a total
of 4 to the combined life total). When attacking the two player team either one my block for the other
player. Basically they are playing as one person. So when you attack you
don’t choose whom you are attacking. You just declare what creatures
are attacking.
If the two player team eliminates the one player team then it becomes a
basic two player game. They each have the same life totals. If there
were at 25 when they eliminated the one player team then they would both
have 25 life and play out a normal game against each other. Deck

“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant. Before each game begins, a player may, for any reason, reshuffle and redraw his hand, drawing one less card. This may be repeated as often as the player wishes, until he has no cards left in his hand. After the participant, who plays first, mulligans as often as he likes, the decision of whether to mulligan passes to the other player. Once a player passes the opportunity to mulligan, that player may not change his mind.
