Slaves Rules For this variant use
standard Magic: the Gathering rules with the following exceptions:
A “Slave” is still in
the game with the following exceptions:
Play continues until there are only two people left in the game. When this happens it is called “End Game.” During “End Game” all slaves are removed from the game and play continues with just the two people. You may not win the game unless you go to “End Game.” An example of a game ending with out going to “End Game” is if there are 3 people left in the game and one play kills the other two players at the same time. This would only leave the one player left in the game. So you would not be able to go to “End Game” and then whole game would be a draw between all players. So you need to be careful toward the end of the game to leave one player other then yourself alive so you can go to “End Game.” Deck
Construction Use
standard deck construction rules for this variant. Sideboard You
can have a 15-card sideboard in Constructed and in Limited the cards you
don’t use are your sideboard. Banned
& Restricted List When playing this variant it is usually
decided what type you will be playing. So if playing Type 1, Type 1.5,
Type 2, or Extended Slaves then, follow that format’s Banned and
Restricted List. Mulligan Rules Standard
“Paris” Mulligan is used for this variant. Before each game begins, a player may, for
any reason, reshuffle and redraw his hand, drawing one less card. This
may be repeated as often as the player wishes, until he has no cards
left in his hand. After the participant, who plays first, mulligans as
often as he likes, the decision of whether to mulligan passes to the
other player. Once a player passes the opportunity to mulligan, that
player may not change his mind.
