Legendary
Summit
Creator: Torae_7 (www.mtgnews.com)
A Deck for the Chameleon
Magic Variant
Notes from the creator:
General Idea: Meet the legends Sit back, build up
mana, help people out a bit (maybe) then drop a wake and go nuts. Just be
careful of mana burn from Wake. It can get tricky. Hint - you find and
play Sliver Queen and Cromat the same turn
Card by Card
Captain
Sisay: I hear being able to get your legends on demand is good
Sliver
Queen: mmmm...tokeny goodness. Also a 7/7 beatstick on her own right.
Cromat:
A mini "Jack of all Trades" in a sense, plus a 5/5 body to boot.
Treva,
the Renewer: Life is good, especially when people start gunning for
you. Combos well with Rith.
Dromar,
the Banisher: Another "good when they come for you"
creature. Send whole armies of enemy saprolings or other tokens to
oblivion.
Crosis,
the Purger: Serious potential to totally destroy a hand here. 'Nuff
said, methinks.
Darigaaz,
the Igniter: Like Crosis, except serious potential for damage.
Rith,
the Awakener: Makes lots of little guys when he deals his 6 damage.
Nice, eh?
Lord
of Tresserhorn: Combos well with Rith's tokens, he's BIG, cheap, and
regenerates. Good deal.
Rubinia
Soulsinger: Steal your opponents best creature.
Selenia,
Dark Angel: If you have a bit of life to spare, she quickly becomes
annoying when people try to kill her. Annoying for them, that is.
Tsabo
Tavoc: Big first striking beast, plus kills enemy legends with ease.
Also has the bonus of eliminating and of your OWN legends that have
negative enchantments on them, or that get stolen in some manner.
Vhati
il-Dal: Makes things small. That's what he's here for.
Xira
Arien: She's a legend, she's underused, and she draws a card! Sweet!
Other Spells
Mirari's
Wake: The fuel of the deck. Drop one to REALLY start going off.
Eldamari's
Call: More searching ability on demand.
Last
Stand: Nice, big effect that just fits well into the deck. Very well,
in fact.
Fiery
Justice: Too good to pass up for multiplayer. Offers a bit of a
diplomatic toy early on.
Hero's
Reunion: Gains life. Which is good. Also is another diplomatic toy.
Barrin's
Spite: Eliminates two pesky creatures with a single spell. I hear
that's some good.
Cauldron
Dance: Offers some very, very rude tricks. 'Nuff said about that
