Bo & Hope #15 December 27, 1985 - February 24, 1986: 8 hour original edit
On New Year’s Eve, Bo surprises Hope with a new loft apartment. Victor is pushing out the small businesses along the docks. Bo gets a job on the docks working for Victor, he is fighting the takeover. Hope & Howie work on tracking down info on the mysterious Britta. Bo is doing his own investigation and Hope follows him to New York and surprises him there. Patch is hiding The Pawn. Bo thinks the pawn could be Stefano. Victor is desperate to get the pawn back, but he takes off and we see him assume the name “John Black”. He takes the bandages off and merges into society with no one knowing he is the pawn. Hope throws a bridal shower at Blondie’s for Melissa & Maggie. Kimberly overhears Caroline’s confession in the church that Victor is the father of one of her children. Bo bursts into the courtroom during Shane’s hearing to admit that he committed the treason, not Shane. Bo is arrested, and Hope goes to Patch for help. They both head to Sweden. An explosion at the prison gives Bo a chance to escape. He heads to Sweden as well. Bo & Hope both learn that Britta is alive and did not die in the fire. Bo discovers Britta is masquerading as a man and pulls off her wig and mask. Patch, Bo and Britta are reunited. Hope and Britta swap places, and Hope disappears. Hope uses Britta’s fake passport to board a plane back to Stockholm. Unfortunately, she is being tailed by a KGB spy and the plane makes a sudden landing in Russia! Bo & Hope #16 February 25 - May 6, 1986 8 hr original edit
This edit begins as Hope is being held captive by the KGB in Sweden. Bo asks for Shane to come to Sweden to help him get Hope back. Hope is shot during an exchange of her for Britta. They keep Britta and bring her to Salem. Bo is hiding out in the tunnels as there is an APB out on him. Britta has agreed to testify to help Bo in exchange for the their help in getting her brother, Lars, away from the KGB. Britta is kidnapped by KGB which prevents her from testifying and Bo is arrested. Caroline begs Victor Kirikas for help and he gets the escape charges dropped (someone else comes forward accepting responsibility). Victor then provides his $3 million bail. Lars is coming to Salem with the Russian Ballet and they plan to rescue him then. The KGB arrive in Salem and almost catch Britta at the theatre. Bo & Hope help her escape. Includes all of Bo scenes and all of Hope's scenes during this time frame.
The Russian Ballet begins. The gang help Lars and Britta escape the KGB. Afterwards at a Press Conference, Britta reveals to all that Bo Brady was not responsible for the Stockholm scandal. Britta and Lars are granted political asylum. Bo, Hope, and Shane celebrate their success. Victor learns that he and Caroline conceived a child together. Victor vows that the entire Brady family will pay for what Caroline did to him. All of the charges against Bo are being dropped. Howie surprises Bo and Hope by saying that he has sold the company and is moving to Florida. Bo and Hope say goodbye to Howie. Bo and Hope notice the new sign on Howie’s office: “Brady and Brady Detective Agency.” Doug has bought the agency as a belated-wedding gift for his daughter and son-in-law.
Britta is shot during a confrontation with Kiriakis and his men. Marlena calls Bo and tells him that John Black is the pawn and he is really Stefano Dimera. Shane & Bo rush to the mountain cabin to help her. John and Marlena are on the run from the KGB. They go on their famous raft ride down the falls to avoid Bo and Shane. Bo, Shane and Hope take the next raft and go directly after John and Marlena, they all flip over. Hope is nowhere to be found. They scramble to find her. Bo & Hope #17 May 7 - July 9, 1986: 8 hr original edit
John Black has taken Marlena hostage and they are on the run in the woods. The KGB are after them, as well as Victor’s goons. Bo & Hope, and Shane are stranded in the woods while tracking John & Marlena. They have also just learned he is the pawn. Bo drives away a mountain lion from Hope, Victor saves Bo from the KGB, Bo & John fight on a mountain top and John falls, they learn that John is Roman, Bo & Hope 1st Anniversary party, Kayla returns to town, revealed that Victor is Bo’s father, Bo & Hope move into the Kiriakas mansion, Bo goes to work for Victor at the warehouse, Bo & Patch are working together, Bo warns Patch to stay away from his sister Kaya, Patch saves Bo during a forklift accident though Bo is injured. Hope learns she is pregnant, tells her gram and then tells Bo after the 4th of July picnic.
There are some glitchy sections.. had some tapes from May to mid June, 1986 that had a slight jump in the video on quite a few episodes... still crystal clear quality and good audio.. there are a few episodes with some video glitches.. not bad but not pristine... and then when the video lined up there would be a slight audio hum... so some challenges on the first 6 hrs... would appreciate your feedback as a viewer in comparison to the other edits in the series... and just how annoying it is. I have enjoyed revisiting this time frame... very fortunate so much of this has survived as well as it has.. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #18 July 9 - September 30, 1986: 8 hour original edit
Hope tells Kim, then Roman that she is pregnant. Victor warns them that if he can’t trust them that their deal is off. Victor arranges for a romantic dinner for Bo & Hope. Hope learns that Victor is forcing Pete to launder money and confronts Victor. Hope gets a tip about Victor’s illegal shipment and arranges for Salem PD to intercept it. Bo finds out and gets the shipment moved just in time to avoid the PD, and earns Victor’s trust. Mrs. H hosts a dinner for Victor and Bo & Hope. Victor sends Bo to Europe for a few weeks. Hope begs him not to go and tells him she is moving out of Victor’s and leaving him if he goes. Hope has a miscarriage while Bo is gone. Steve finds her on the docks and is very sweet to her throughout this. Steve is waiting for Bo when he finally returns and blasts him for not being there for Hope and tells him she lost the baby. Hope gives Bo the cold shoulder and wants nothing to do with him and insists their marriage is over. He kidnaps her and whisks her away for surprise honeymoon. She fights and argues with him as they travel by car, then motorcycle, to a waiting hot air balloon to a remote island where he has rented a beach mansion. Great location scenes as he finally gets through to her and they have a romantic trip. Victor shows up and Bo sends him packing, Hope is thrilled. Back home, when he goes back to Victor’s she tells him she is getting a legal separation. Britta is murdered and Steve is suspected though Hope sticks up for him. Marlena is kidnapped and Hope works with Roman to try to find her. Really enjoyed this edit, a lot of great Bo & Hope scenes together. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #19 September 30 - December 18, 1986: 8 hour original edit
On this edit, Hope gives Bo separation papers. Marlena has been kidnapped by Orpheus and Hope works with him, later joined by Steve & Kayla to rescue her. Stockholm is primarily a Roman & Marlena storyline, joined in by Steve & Kayla. Hope comes and goes into this storyline, so kept this edited to primarily all of Hope’s scenes and all of Bo’s.

Roman meets with Steve & Hope and tells them the clues of the three knives. Steve tells him about their tattoos. Hope remembers there is a picture of Bo’s tattoo and brings him a picture of it. Roman & Steve head to Stockholm. Bo goes to see Hope and realizing that he is facing completely losing her, and finally tells her the truth and they compare notes. He finally has evidence against Victor and turns it over to Shane. She tells Bo about the three tattoos and she has to go to Stockholm to warn Roman & Steve that Victor is linked to Britta’s death (her gun is found in his safe). Lana at the tattoo pallor has been killed and written Roman’s name in blood. They escape from the Stockholm police and Steve is shot. Hope calls Kayla for medical advice and she gets on the next plane to come help. They print out film from the tattoo pallor security camera and Roman recognizes Orpheus.

Back in Salem, Mrs. H arranges for Bo & Hope to have a romantic evening alone together by reserving Blondie’s for a private party and closing the restaurant to the public. They then sneak off to a campsite and spend a romantic evening completely alone. Hope helps with delivery of supplies to a nearby clinic and it is hit by a tornado. Bo is frantic with worry. They are reunited and soon Hope tells Bo that she is pregnant! The gang head back to Stockholm and Hope works with Roman to help him find Marlena. She is finally rescued and some happy moments as everyone celebrates her return. Victor realizes Bo & Hope have been sneaking around behind his back and no longer trusts them. Hope agrees to move back into the mansion and they tell him that they are going to change their last name to Kiriakis. Marlena is killed in an explosion by Orpheus.

Bonus dvd. So when I came across the 1986 anniversary flashback episode, decided I would include the entire show on a separate dvd as a bonus rather than try to insert it in the middle of the Bo & Hope #19 edit. I then started thinking about adding some additional episodes to fill out the dvd. The Stockholm storyline really began with Marlena's kidnapping, followed by Britta being shot and killed on the pier. There are a couple of episodes with a lot of action when Orpheus takes Kayla prisoner and Steve rescues her. It is referred to later during scenes with Hope but B&H weren't involved and weren't on those shows. Stockholm is primarily about Roman trying to get Marlena back. Steve & Kayla become involved and Steve & Roman work together and they are together a lot. Roman asks Hope for help and she becomes involved but is not always in the episodes and has a smaller role up till her and Bo both join everyone in Stockholm for the big conclusion of Marlena's rescue.

Anyway, this bonus dvd has the complete anniversary show and then 9 more edited episodes with additional scenes involving Roman & Marlena, Steve & Kayla that I think fills out the storyline and really goes with the Stockholm edits for B&H. During this time, Bo & Hope are off on their second honeymoon and just didn't make sense to interrupt that edit with scenes that didn't involve them at that time. So the bonus dvd contains five additional episodes as a complimentary dvd. I love the anniversary show with montages. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #21 April 19 - June 18, 1990: 8 hour original edit
Bo, Hope, and a toddler Shawn-D returned to Salem, much to the happiness of Caroline and Alice. Bo roars back on screen on his motorcycle! He is soon reunited with Steve and learns baby Stephanie has been kidnapped. Bo is being followed and sends Hope & Shawn D to Paris to keep them safe. Bo is kidnapped by Ernesto Toscano to gain revenge against Victor. He arranges to have Bo & Johnny have plastic surgery, planning on replacing Bo with his fake Bo. Bo talks Johnny into not switching places and pays off the doctor to fake the surgery. So Ernesto thinks he has fake Bo in place but it is actually Bo playing a role. Ernesto has made threats against both Victor and Roman, and keeps Bo in line by threatening Hope. The gang all leave for the Cruise of Deception, Julie & Victor, Jack & Jenn, Roman & Isabella, and Bo. They are soon surprised by Hope’s arrival.
Ernesto begins his games by leaving costumes out for the mascarade ball. Bo & Hope dress as Scarlett & Rhett Butler. Then Ernesto insists on them performing a play and Hope is to wear her wedding dress for her role. Ernesto’s plan is to switch the prop gun for a real gun and have Victor shoot and kill Roman. Bo switches guns and he takes over the role and shoots Roman with the fake gun. Ernesto is furious at Bo’s intervention and has him beaten up as a message. He keeps trying to keep him away from Hope, but Bo finally tells her the truth behind Ernesto’s devious revenge plot and Bo has been under cover and just trying to keep Hope safe. Ernesto continues to threaten Hope if Bo doesn’t keep her at arms length. They still find ways to meet in secret and have some alone time together. This edit contains all of Hope’s scenes and all of Bo’s scenes and additional scenes such as Ernesto, Victor as needed to tell their story. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #22 June 19 - August 8, 1990: 8 hour original edit
This edit completes the Cruise of Deception storyline and Hope's 1990 return. He has just told her the truth at the end of the #21B edit and the #22A dvd is of them working together, stealing moments together when Ernesto doesn't seem them, B&H at their best. Ernesto has rigged the Loretta to explode and everyone finds safety aboard the life raft. They land on an island and take refuge. Shane & Steve get worried and start searching when they realize that no one has heard from them. In the conclusion on the #22B, Hope was put in a cage over a vat of acid. There was an explosion and it appeared the cage with Hope inside went into the acid. Hope and Ernesto are killed in the explosion and are presumed dead. Bo desperately searches for her. Steve stays behind to help him but they never find her. Bo is in denial about her death but Mrs. H finally convinces him to attend her memorial. Bo gets false hope that she is alive when Ernesto's goon, Hans, tells him she is alive and tries to blackmail him for her return. Victor rushes to the rescue and puts an end to this ploy. Bo finally accepts she is gone and returns to Salem. Sweet moments as he makes nice with Isabella, Roman, ect.. and a great moment when Victor has Nico deck the smart ass Johnny!
I included every Bo scene, every Hope scene and additional scenes as needed to tell the Cruise of Deception storyline. There are quite a few Victor & Julie, Victor & Julie, and Roman & Victor, Roman & Toscano on the island scenes. Julie comes in this storyline on the #21 as a power house of elegance and strength. She advocated for Hope while Victor worries about Bo and this brings them together. An interesting combination is Victor & Roman forced to work together on the island and brought together by their common love for Isabella & Bo.

I also included Shane & Steve back home looking for them, and having to tell the families that the gang is missing. I included most of Ernesto’s scenes as he schemes behind the scenes. Included Julie telling Mr & Mrs. H about Hope’s death, and Roman telling the Brady’s about Hope. There are some very sweet scenes in the aftermath of Bo returning home with his friends and family.. Days at its finest is the friend & family relationships. Hope continues to appear AFTER her death in NEW scenes as Bo remembers moments on their boat with their son. These scenes go through 8/3. I ended the edit after he returns from Italy in 8/8 when Hans has confirmed her death.
(Note: These dvds are Bope edits and the goal is to tell their storyline.. so I did not include separate Jack & Jenn storyline, nor all of the Roman & Isabella on the boat just a few scenes as needed to tell the story. Most of the island scenes are included, except again Jack & Jenn off in the cave - their storyline is pretty separate for all of the cruise & island. So very complete for Bope, but not highly edited to them but to the storyline.

Since I had about :45 minutes open on the end of the #22B dvd, I went ahead and added in the beginning of Hope’s 1994 return to show she is alive and being held at Stefano’s. John rescues her and takes her to Bo, he returns her to PC. She has amnesia and thinks she is someone named Gina. Gina was found at Maison Blanche in 1994. Bo refused to believe who she was. This woman had amnesia, but looked exactly like Hope. Earlier that night, Bo had proposed to his fiancée, Billie Reed. There were plastic surgery marks, so this could have been another fishy dealing with Stefano. For months, Gina thought she was Hope but had no memories to back it up. Alice truly believed this woman was her granddaughter and she was right. Amnesiac Gina's fingerprint samples matched Hope's exactly. Hope resumed her life as Hope, but that was no easy task. She wanted her husband back, but he was in love with Billie. Dutifully, Hope granted Bo a divorce, and Billie and Bo married until Billie realized that Bo had unresolved feelings. She left Salem for Paris and stayed there for a year or two. Click here to read the full edit description.

Hope Returns 1994 #1 June 22, 1994 - January 5, 1995: 8 hour original editbr> There are a couple of very young BH flashbacks on this edit. Gina/Hope meets Shawn D. He thinks she is an angel. She meets the Horton clan and they are stunned. Gina begins revisiting moments in her past to try to spark her memory of her life as Hope. Bo is stunned to see her wearing her wedding dress. Hope spends a tender moment by Shawn D’s hospital bed. Bo is stunned to hear her sing the song that Hope used to sing to their son. The DNA results are not conclusive, Bo breaks up with Billie, just as we see Celeste brainwashing Hope to have memories to prove she is Hope. She next remembers the night Shawn D was conceived. He challenges her to recreate that night in exact detail to prove she is Hope and she is able to. The next memory Celeste implants is of them with Shawn D as a baby. Bo accepts that she is Hope and tells Shawn D. The Horton’s give her a welcome home party. Billie begins to notice the connection between the music and a dazed Hope and walks in to see her dazed holding onto the phone. She believes the music is the trigger for Hope to remember and is convinced Stephano is brainwashing Gina to believe she is Hope.

Billie is further convinced when Celeste drugs her by mistake and tries to implant a Hope memory in Billie. Celeste leaves behind the “Book of Hope”. Billie arrives just as Bo & Hope are about to make love and tries to stop them, she can prove Gina isn’t Hope. Billie drops the book which later Hope shares with Bo and he realizes she isn’t Hope. Gina shares the news with Mrs. H who doesn’t believe it. Bo & Bilile get engaged and tell Shawn D. that Gina isn’t Hope and isn’t his mom. Gina attends the Horton family Christmas after Doug & Julie talk her into going. Mrs. H gives her a “Gina” ornament for the tree and it almost immediately drops and breaks as the “Hope” ornament stays on the tree. Alice tenderly asks Tom if that was him letting her know that the Gina ornament didn’t belong on the tree as she is really Hope. Alice then stops Bo & Billie’s wedding insisting that his dead wife is actually alive!

This continues to be a highlight dvd and contains the important storyline moments for Hope’s return, but does not include every Hope scene. I think this works to show the progression of her return, some wonderful moments of her with the Horton’s and especially Mrs. H. Love their relationship! This is more highly edited to cover Hope's return so I did include every scene. It was very slow bringing her on and the first couple of months she was shown from behind, in very brief scenes, and then spent quite a bit of time on the boat with Stephano, being rescued by Roman, splashing around in the water and being unconscious during her rescue. As mentioned, the first part of her return is contained on the last :45 minutes of the #22B.. was just too sad to end that edit with Bo accepting Hope's death so had to continue to show she was alive, held by Stephano, John rescuing her (so confusing in 1990 he is Roman and in 1994 he is back to being John!). Hope Returns 1995 #2 January 17 - July 31, 1984: 8 hour original edit
I had not planned on editing this time frame.. however when I went from Hope's death in 1990 and jumped to Aug 1, 1995 with Peter's return it made no sense, no build up and I was lost. I tried watching a couple of dvds before that return and it still was disjointed, I had skipped too much storyline. I decided to go back and did highlight dvds for Hope in 1994 which set up her struggle to learn her identity, her connection with Alice and her determination that she is indeed Hope. The Hope Returns #2 is actually really good and even if you decide to skip the #1, I really enjoyed this edit.. as Hope decides to become a cop, has some success as a local hero and the build up to finding out she is Hope.. this is a very enjoyable time frame. After watching this year of her storyline and condensing it down to 4 dvds catches the viewer up on her struggle and the viewer becomes even more invested in Gina becoming Hope. It simply doesn't have the same emotional impact if you skip this time frame.

On this edit, we learn that Gina is actually Hope! Alice gives Hope the puzzle box that only she and Tom could open. She doesn’t tell her the significance that only Hope & Tom could open it. Alice believes that Gina being able to open the puzzle box will prove that she is Hope. Celeste steals the puzzle box from Gina and throws it in the trash (it is picked up by a homeless lady). A court declares that Hope is legally dead, Bo soon marries Billie. Alice suggests that Gina apply to be a police officer, she hopes this will trigger Hope’s memories. Gina sees a robbery and races after the thief and he gets her man. Bo is stunned to arrive and learn Gina is the hero and she becomes a media darling. A news crew shows up at her door asking how it feels to wake up to learn she is the hottest hero in town!

A very shaken up Shawn D tells Hope that some man just tried to sell him drugs! Gina again comes to the rescue and captures a drug dealer in front of the Brady Pub. Gina passes all the required tests to become a police officer with superior scores. Gina goes to see Stefano after he has been arrested and implores him to tell her who she really is. He tells her that she was found badly disfigured in July of 1990 in New Orleans. She had disfiguring burns were from an acid fire. Bo & Gina go to New Orleans and question an orderly who was on duty the night she was brought in. He had stolen a bracelet Hope was wearing and the inscription proves she was Hope. Bobby Lee sends Bo a letter stating he knows Gina’s true identity, Billie hides the letter from Bo. Billie goes to NO to see Bobby Lee and he tells her the inscription on the bracelet read, "To Hope, with all my love, Bo." Gina accidentally discovers Bobby-Lee's letter and confronts Billie about the letter from Bobby Lee. She reveals what Bobby Lee claimed was written on the bracelet. Bo & Hope #23 August 1 - September 27, 1995: 8 hour original edit
This is a big storyline edit! Peter returns as Bo and on that very first show that he is back, Gina is able to open the puzzle box, finds the letter inside that Hope wrote to Bo on their wedding night and as he reads the letter, she begins to recite the words. Fingerprints on the letter finally confirm that she is Hope. Hope fires a gun at the shooting range and she blacks out at the explosion and has a series of Hope memories, when she wakes up she has all of her memories back! Bo decides he wants a divorce and is going to remarry Billie, all the while having flashbacks of his life with Hope. Mickie arranges for them to go to Santa Rosa for a quickie divorce. Turns out that is where they renewed their vows and celebrated a second honeymoon, with lots of flashbacks of their time together there, bring on the heat!

I have included all of Bo and all of Hope’s scenes. They haven't had scenes together since 1990 and once they start working together, wow! Most of their scenes are with each other, so a LOT of BH scenes on this edit! Loved all the flashbacks, not just a short music montage but full scenes from New Orleans, from them sailing away, from Shawn D's birth, what a great walk down memory land. I also loved the new flashbacks so we get a glimpse into their life circa 1987-1990 while they were sailing around the world. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #24 September 27 - December 26, 1995: 8 hour original edit
Billie leaves town to give Bo time to figure out his feelings for Hope without fear of hurting her. Bo and Hope are assigned to work at the Blue Moon cocktail lounge as an undercover assignment. The manager, Jude St. Claire, becomes fixated on Hope as Bo worries about her safety. Hope not only gets Jude’s attention, but gets a job as a bartender and then a stripper. Bo seethes with worry over her safety. They spend the night together on an island looking for Shawn D’s science project that he left behind and wind up sleeping together under a shared blanket for warmth. They both wind up in Aremid for Jennifer & Peter’s wedding. Both think of their wedding day and Bo kisses her! Tony sets up John to make it look like John shot him, only problem is Tony winds up killing himself. Jude kidnaps Hope but she stabs him in the eye and escapes. Bo is so relieved to find her that he holds her and begs her to never leave him again. Bo tells Hope that he wants to explore his feelings for her. She is afraid of being hurt and tells him that it is too late. He gives her a music box with their song and makes his case for giving their relationship a try and she finally agrees to give their relationship a try. They spend Christmas together, sleigh ride, decorating a tree, a snowball fight. So awesome to see them finally together as a happy family! Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #25 December 26, 1995 - March 19, 1996: 8 hour original edit
Bo & Hope continue celebrating the holidays. They go ice skating and Bo has a flashback to Hope’s ice skating performance back in the 80’s (Kristin was an ice skater). They share a kiss on New Year’s Eve, Bo finally tells her that he loves her. Bo, Abe, and Roman create a fantasy date for their ladies complete with period costumes and a romantic candlelit evening. Their happy reunion is short lived though as Hope is buried in an avalanche and once again presumed dead. Bo refuses to give up and is sure she is alive. Hope was rescued and held captive by Jude. Once Bo returns home, he hears the bell that Hope bought him ring just as he is praying for a sign that she is alive and he knows it means she is alive. He heads back up to the mountain and while circling in a helicopter, he sees smoke from a fire Hope has made to attract attention. While going back up the mountain, he falls and is injured. Once again he goes out searching for her. Hope escapes the cabin, though Jude soon captures her. Bo finds them and fights Jude and he is finally reunited with his Fancy Face. Bo & Hope #26 March 20 - July 9, 1996:
Bo is finally reunited with Hope. Just as he has her in his arms again, Jude shows up holding a gun on them both. Bo is shot during the struggle and Jude gets away. Hope nurses Bo back to health, while Peter kills Jude to keep him from talking. Bo finally tells Hope that he loves her. Back home, Alice throws a Horton welcome home party for Hope! They go up to the Horton cabin and make love for the first time since she has returned from the dead. Wonderful 4 minute montage of classic BH romantic scenes from over the years. They soon begin to have conflict as she wants to go back to work undercover and he is adamantly opposed due to the danger, she did just come back from the dead after her last undercover assignment. During a night out, she goes after a mugger, shots are fired and Bo is terrified for her. Hope gets a lead on Stefano, and Bo continues to oppose her being involved in anything dangerous. When Hope find Stefano in the park, and narrowly misses being shot as Stefano gets away, Bo is livid over the risks she took. She is suspended for 6 months for withholding the evidence that she gathered from Benny’s wire tap. She is very hurt and goes to stay with Alice while she deals with Bo’s attitude over her career. She learns that Bo has bought her an engagement ring. When he finally proposes she says, yes! Carrie & Austin ask her to be the new model for Bella and she agrees. Franco enters their lives and suddenly is there every time they turn around. Bo is suspicious, then he finds out Franco is the model that Hope will be working with, she has her first photo shoot with him. Click here to read the full edit description.

Bo & Hope #27 July 9 - September 20, 1996: 8 hour original edit
As Bo becomes increasingly suspicious of Franco, he ingratiates himself into the Brady family by setting to save Shawn’s life. Bo continues to investigate Jill’s attack and all roads continue to lead to Franco, though he has convenient cover ups and seems to stay a step ahead. As they are following him, he sets up a surprise engagement party for Bo & Hope. Another woman is attacked, and matches the description though the victim IDs another attacker, though Bo still remains suspicious of Franco. Hope & Franco continue modeling together, and then head to Santa Rosa for their next shoot. Hope has flashbacks to her time there with Bo. Franco sabotages her plumbing and then saves the day by offering her to share his room in the sold out hotel. Bo decides to surprise Hope and arrives to find her in bed with Franco! Hope explains her innocence and Bo finds the wrench. Once they return home, Hope listens to her instinct and Bo’s and decides not to renew her modeling contract. Franco leaves town short term as B&H briefly get involved with Will’s kidnapping. Alice & Shawn D decorate the boat in wedding streamers, balloons, and Bo & Hope enjoy a romantic evening. They recite their vows and promise to love each other eternally. Bo hears that Billie is coming back to town and has a sexy dream about her. Billie (recast) has a series of flashbacks of her life with Bo. Hope if feeling threatened and then Billie comes to talk to her and they end up having a water pistol fight. Franco returns to town. Bo & Hope #28 September 23 - November 19, 1996: 8 hour original edit
This edit is full of wedding planning, big party for Bo & Hope, and some nice surprise returns by Melissa, Kimberly, Marie (recast) Doug & Julie came back to Salem for the Horton family party and the wedding. Everyone gathers at the church for Bo and Hope's wedding but Bo has not shown up. Hope looked beautiful and the church was filled with friends and family who had gathered to see Bo and Hope's love renewed. Unfortunately, Bo's preoccupation with the mysterious Salem newcomer, Franco Kelly, set him off on a mission. Bo was convinced that Franco is a killer, and the man who assaulted at least one Salem woman. Franco was being paid by a secret boss to keep Bo and Hope apart. On their wedding day, Hope discovered an unclothed Bo and Billie together in bed at the Horton cabin. Mishaps with the boat, radio and the absence of neighbors had stranded Bo on the island. Bo was determined to get back to Salem and tried to swim the river to get back for the wedding, but it was impossible. Afterward, cold, wet and exhausted, he fell asleep. When Hope found him, she called off the wedding because of Bo's continued interest in Billie. Hope felt he was more than just being protective towards Billie. She also felt Bo's fixation on proving Franco a dangerous man was unreasonable. She does promise that if he gets proof that he is right about Franco that she would marry him. Bo & Hope #29 November 19, 1996 - January 30, 1997: 8 hour original edit
Cute scenes as Bo & Hope are drawn together over holiday traditions. They decorate the church together and he takes advantage of holding mistletoe to kiss Hope. Bo continues to insist that Franco is guilty of being Jill’s attacker. Jill was found on the docks the night before and is at the hospital right under there noses. Bo plans on finding Jill and with her testimony that Franco is a bad guy, that this will somehow prove to Hope that he no longer has feelings for Billie and this will somehow prove that? Hope tells Bo that she will not marry him until she is sure he is over Billie, she thinks he still has feelings for Billie. Franco realizes Jill is in the hospital and spends his time scheming to get to her before Bo does. Billie recognizes that Jill is Jane Doe but then struggles whether to tell Bo, being tempted that without Jill that he may never reunite with Hope giving her a chance with him.

Jill is transferred to a different facility and just as it seems Franco will triumph, Hope is handing back her engagement ring to Bo then Billie finally tells Bo where Jill is. He finally finds her and then waits for her to wake up. When Franco creates a diversion, he sneaks into Jill’s room. Bo finds him just in time and goes ballistic. When she comes to, she agrees to a line up, but then says her attacker is not there, and soon skips town. Billie decides to leave town. Hope gets a twinkle in her eye and believes her best chance at a future with Bo is to ask Billie to stay and fight for Bo to erase Hope’s doubts. Bo is eager to get in on a big drug case as an undercover cop. When Hope leaves for Santa Rosa for a modeling shoot, he begins hanging out at the Cheating Heart and drinking a lot. He gets in a very public fist fight with Abe and gets fired. He then loses the boat in a drunken pool match. (On the next edit, we learn that this is a set up so that Bo will be brought into the King drug organization as he takes a bribe and they think he is a dirty cop. The Fancy Face burns down. It looks like Bo is stealing dirty money, but we soon learn that it is a set up so he will be brought into the King drug organization as they think he has taken a bribe and they think he is a dirty cop. Really its a plan to bust them between him and Abe. Great reunion scenes between B&H on the next edit as Hope returns home and tells him she wants to be with him, and they are in the middle of a heartfelt conversation when he gets a call about the drug case. Bo goes to a meeting with King and is accepted as a dirty cop. Abe tells Bo that he can not tell Hope about the case as would put her life in danger. Hope finally wants to fight to be with Bo, and he has to reject her in order to keep her safe. Great B&H montage, and several fantasy/dream sequences of B&H together.

A bomb is set to blow up the Horton home as Hope and Shawn D are inside. Bo & Billie are able to disarm it just in time, without Hope knowing it was ever there. Hope knows Bo still has feelings for her when they dance together at a benefit. Abe gets a call that Shawn D has been shot and they rush to the hospital. In the aftermath of the shooting, Bo is about to tell Hope the truth. Hope overhears Bo telling Shawn D that he wants to be a family again. Bo tells Hope that he wants to talk to her and tell hers that their future will change and it involves a wedding. Abe tells Bo that he can’t tell Bo about this case nor his feelings. He tells him that the shooter is connected to King, that the kids walked interrupted a drug buy. Bo is furious that he is caught between doing what is right for Hope, and what is right for the city and all the innocent people. Bo & Hope #31 April 11 - September 25, 1997: 12 hour original edit on three 4 hr dvds!
This edit is been better than I expected as there are so many fantasy moments between Bo & Hope. They really messed with the audience as they would show reunion scenes over and over again, but nope was just a fantasy! Hope thinks of Bo in the park, in her bathtub, on the airplane and several moments of Bo thinking of her as well. Bo’s thoughts also turn to Hope constantly as he can’t wait to be able to tell her that he has been undercover and he really loves her. As Bo is forced to marry Billie (to follow through with his cover), he has a fantasy that it is Hope he is marrying. Both Bo & Hope have flashbacks of their wedding. They dance together, the yearning so strong as he holds Hope tenderly and gazes into her eyes, his love for her so evident. Abe tells Hope that the whole thing with Billie was a ruse to protect Hope as he was undercover. He assures her that Bo never stopped loving her.

Hope heads to Rome to find Bo, finally understanding that her instincts that he was in love with her was right all along. When she arrives, she finds him in bed with Billie (she talked him into saying goodbye). Hope leaves before Bo realizes she has seen him with Billie. When he returns to Salem, he never has a chance to talk to Hope. He follows her to the cabin and sees Franco down on one knee placing a ring on her finger. Abe has told Bo that he told Hope everything, so Bo assumes that Hope doesn’t care that it was all an act and she has moved on with Franco. He soon leaves again for Rome when Billie goes missing. She has been kidnapped and hooked on drugs and he stays with her to help her get through the withdrawal (this is very highly edited with only a few scenes to follow where he is at). He continues to think of Hope and wants to get home to her to try to work things out, and decides he has to talk to her and explain everything to her once Billie has recovered.

I continued to include all of Hope’s scenes and all of Bo’s scenes through July and wrap up the King storyline. I decided to add in a bonus #31C dvd at no additional cost with this order to finish off all of Bo's and all of Hope's July scenes. So this is a 12 hour edit on 3 dvds!! I continued to include Hope's scenes from August and most of September on this bonus dvd.. which will be included at no charge. So rather than skipping her scenes makes sense to just do a bonus dvd with a bit more of her storyline. I had planned on doing the jungle adventure on the next edit, but since I had about an hour open on the last dvd.. decided to go ahead and fill it up so you also get the first hour of this adventure with John, Kristen, and Stefano! This one is mostly Hope scenes on her jungle adventure. Also included all of John's scenes, and most of Stefano & Kristen (only scenes didn't include was when he was on the phone scheming in Jack & Jenn's lives. Note: Bo is still in Rome with Billie, and I only included his scenes when he is thinking of Hope or sensing she is in danger, the fantasies, the dreams, and the flashbacks of Bo & Hope. Otherwise, Bo has very limited air time on this edit and not all of him & Billie are included so this is mostly a Hope edit. Since I had some time at the end of the #32B dvd, I decided to add a couple of bonus items:

Bo & Hope #33 November 19, 1997 - March 19, 1998: 8 hour original edit
Bo & Billie return to Salem, and Bo is immediately drawn to Hope and her to him. Bo finds out Billie’s schemed about the reporter's story and breaks up with her, Bo & Hope’s Reunion!!!! Bo & Hope #34 March 19 - July 19, 1998: 8 hour original edit
There is a lot of Bo & Hope in scenes together on this edit. Hope goes to visit Stefano in the hospital and he slips and calls her Gina, giving her a clue. B&H searching Stefano’s place looking for more clues. A lot of B&H on the first dvd, cute scenes as Hope gets caught in the crossfire of a food fight between Bo & Shawn D. Celeste gives Hope a box of Gina’s things, one of them is a silver compact.
Hope goes to New Orleans and the doctor who treated her gives her a picture of her with her injuries. Hope meets someone who knew her then and she tells her that she was from Bayou Dugar. Bo soon shows up determined to help her and is worried to hear she went to the bayou alone. They go back to the bayou together, get caught in a rainstorm and have to take refuge over night in a cave together. They tenderly hold each other and both are yearning to kiss but pull away. They remember their 13th anniversary while on the plane together on their way home.
Billie arrives in New Orleans and learns they drove out to the bayou so she follows them alone. She goes into labor and her baby is stillborn and is buried in the bayou. She heads back to Salem, has a run in with Hope and later has a car accident. She conveniently finds a doctor who is willing to say she lost her baby after returning to Salem so she can blame Hope for the accident and the baby’s death. Billie calls Bo, and him and Hope head over to her. She screams at Hope that she did this to her, Bo and Billie grieve over baby Georgia’s death. There are rocks in the casket. Bo & Hope #35 July 19 - September 29, 1998: 12 hour edit on three 4 hr dvds
Note: Bo & Hope do not have any scenes together during this time frame. She goes to Switzerland and then the Empress Express train, while Bo is off in the bayou with Swamp Girl. This edit kicks off the Princess Gina storyline as Hope & John go to Lugano, Switzerland. Hope learns from Mrs. Haversham that she was there as Princess Gina. She attends a dinner party dressed in a ball gown as Princess Gina. Mrs. Haversham gifts Hope with diamonds, including a tiara. She has her hair and make up artists make over Hope, complete with wardrobe to become Princess Gina as she used to appear. As Lucille accuses Hope of being an imposter. Mrs. Haversham declares that Gina had a birthmark behind her ear which proves she is Princess Gina, Hope is shocked to learn of this. Mrs. H assures Hope that she does not have such a birthmark as Hope begins to doubt whether she is truly Hope and starts to believe she could in fact be Gina. They travel to Bulgaria via the fancy Empress Express train. Hope is widely recognized as Princess Ginger and Hope wins big at Baccarat, just as Princess Gina once did. Stefano and Vivian are on the same train.

Meanwhile, Bo went to the Bayou again where he met Swamp Girl (he is in search of clues about Hope, since she wouldn’t let him help her). They hide out from Wayne and Earl (who want to kill Bo) in an underground labyrinth. He learns she was burned in a fire, her face is scarred, and she has memories of Stefano in the hospital when she wakes up. Bo feels a connection to her and begins to wonder if she is the real Hope. She does little things that remind him of Hope, and he has a continual series of flashbacks of Hope. She knows Romeo & Juliet by heart (just like Hope), she knows the Longfellow poem that Hope used to quote. She finally agrees to show him her face, but he is temporarily blinded after an incident with bats (LOL). She cleans up, washes her face and does her hair (which looks like Hope’s but we only see her from behind). They both dress up and slow dance by candlelight, though Bo still can’t see her face.

Note: During a phone call home, Mrs. H also tells her that Kate hired Franco to split up her and Bo (came out as evidence against Sammy during her custody trial, as she was blackmailing Kate)! Billie later tells Bo as well (BH compare notes on this on beginning of the #36A!). I decided to add a bonus #35C dvd and continue with all of Bo’s scenes and all of Hope’s during this time frame they are apart. So this bonus dvd includes more Bo & Hope flashbacks, he gets his sight back and realizes she isn’t Hope. Greta tells Bo that she was paid to take Hope’s place in the cage and she was horribly burned and that is why she hides out in the swamp. Billie arrives in the swamp and finds Bo and Greta. Bo begs Greta to return to Salem with him and tell Hope the truth about her not being burned. They soon arrive back in Salem and Bo heads to Alice’s to look for Hope. Meanwhile, Lucille pushes Hope off the train, and Stefano saves her as she dangles off the train. A plastic surgeon on board the train informs Hope that she never had plastic surgery, so now she is sure she isn’t Hope. Hope warns Stefano that she will keep digging about Gina’s past until she remembers everything! Stefano’s goon has caused the train to crash, tossing everyone around, and looks like the entire train is laying on the floor unconscious. When Hope can’t get a flight back, Stefano invites her to join him and Vivian on his private plane heading back to Salem. Hope can’t wait to see Bo! Bo & Hope #36 September 29, 1998 - January 26, 1999: 12 hour original edit on 3 dvds!
*This is a good edit for Bo & Hope together. This edit begins as Bo & Hope reunite at Alice’s home, and run into each other’s arms! They compare notes of what Hope has learned about Princess Gina and not having surgery, and Bo tells her that Swamp Girl took her place in the cage and Hope was never burned. Bo tells Hope that nothing will ever come between them again, and that they can't recapture their past, but they can recapture their love. Hope learns Franco is dead and how Kate hired him to come between her and Bo. Greta finally tells Bo that Billie lied about where and when her baby is born, finally clearing the way for Bo & Hope to reunite.

Just as the Brady’s are spending time together as a family lots of with cute Bo & Hope flashbacks, Stefano & Rolf are working to transform her into Gina (with help of a satellite). Bo & Shawn D surprise Hope with a new boat, the Fancy Face 2! Just as they are getting closer, Stefano has Shawn D. kidnapped to distract them from reuniting so he has a chance to turn her into Gina. After Shawn D is rescued, Bo buys Hope an engagement ring and proposes, just as they have reunited, she has transformed into Gina with all of her memories as being an art thief working with Stefano! Bo & Hope #37 January 28 - April 9, 1999: 8 hours
Hope has transformed into Gina but hiding it from Bo, though her hair, clothing, and makeup all are strikingly more dramatic. She has all of Gina’s real memories and remembers her partner, Father John. Stefano lays a bombshell that he wasn’t really a priest and that was just a cover. As Marlena hypnotizes John, he begins having memories of Gina. Lilly realizes Hope is changing back into Gina. She has her seamstress make her a red ball gown (just like her memory of dancing with John), and “Gina” shows up and Greta tells Bo that isn’t Hope but her mother, Princess Gina.

Gina plots to make John remember her, he was the great love of her life. Gina encourages John to keep searching for the truth about his past. Stefano is afraid John and Bo will learns she's no longer Hope. Bo and Greta go to Capri to investigate Gina’s past. Hope shows up and does a cat burglar act as she scales a building to get to the hotel’s records and delete them before John can access them. Bo if furious when he learns that “Hope” has sent Shawn D to boarding school without consulting him. She tells him the Hope he knew is gone! She packs her bags and leaves, and she is relieved to be free, well just as soon as she deals with “Steffie”. I have good quality original episodes from this time frame, so overall quality is pretty good. I continued to include every Hope and every Bo scene during this time frame. Bo & Hope #38 April 12 - June 18, 1999: 8 hour original edit
Stefano has turned Hope into Princess Gina. Gina got fed up trying to be Hope and moved out of the Horton family home. Bo believes that Stefano brainwashed her. Kristen does a phenomenal job of creating the character of Gina. The differences between her and Hope are slight but distinctive, and Gina’s wardrobe is amazing. Kristen has never looked so beautiful. This is an interesting time frame storyline wise, even though Bo & Hope weren’t together. It was well done, and there is a lot of Bo and a lot of Hope (and little Billie! YEAH). Gina is in love with John and is determined to spark his memory of his past with her while still trying to keep Bo believing she is Hope but failing miserably.

Hope arranges for a mugger to steal Billie’s purse so she can get her compact. She uses it to spark John’s memories, and we get a few flashbacks. Bo & Vivian work together, as Vivian gives away her works of art hoping to trigger a reaction. Gina realizes that one of them still has the original work of art underneath and fakes a faint. Bo realizes that Gina and Stefano are working together and realizes it has something to do with Vivian’s seascape. Stefano is furious with Gina for lying to him as the original masterpiece is worth millions. She talks him into returning John’s memories, Stefano tells Rolf to turn John back into his pawn. Bo & Hope #39 June 21 - August 12, 1999: 8 hour original edit
John is triggered and attacks Stefano, chocking him. Stefano realizes he must change John back into his pawn and he will think it is 1985 again, and Gina is thrilled. Bo is determined to find out why the paintings are so important to DiMera. Bo’s focus is to get his Hope back as he is positive that "Hope" is under DiMera's control. Gina sets up for Rolf to take John and transform him but he overpowers Rolf and makes it to his wedding! Gina cries with sorrow as she attends John’s wedding to Marlena. Gina follows them to their Hawaiian honeymoon and kidnaps John when he swims out to save a swimmer in distress. This is all very well done with location scenes as Gina has scuba divers and a sub in her arsenal. Once John is on board, she transforms him into the old John. Bo shows up in HI after Marlena calls him about John’s disappearance.

Stefano arrives and boards the sub, furious at Gina’s betrayal of him. Stefano has him beaten up, neutralized so he won’t remember anything about his time on the sub and being the pawn, then has him thrown in the water where he floats face down unconscious. Marlena sees a body in the water and rushes in to rescue her husband. Gina heads to Paris and arrives at her old home, and Bo soon shows up and begins to woe Gina. He entices her out to dinner at her favorite fancy restaurant, and he is looking very suave and captures Gina’s interest as she warms up to him. He surprises her with a look alike compact, they then waltz and she is further impressed. He later shows her pictures of Shawn D and tells her stories about him at school and seems to touch the Hope part of her. The real Princess Gina looking very old and haggard and living in secret in a second Paris home. Gina is suddenly nice to Bo and invites him to join her in a drink, though she spikes his and then HE is under Stefano’s control. Stefano tests his control over Bo, risking his life in heavy traffic as Gina watches anxiously (obviously now having some feelings for Bo). Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #40 August 12 - September 30, 1999: 8 hour original edit
Stefano has drugged Bo to bring him under his control. When Bo comes to, he realizes Stefano has been drugging him. Stefano’s plan is to turn Bo into his pawn and send him and Gina/Hope back to Salem to wreck revenge on the Bradys. Bo fakes a reaction to the drug so Stefano discontinues trying to turn him into his pawn. Bo continues to try to reach Hope and rescue her from Stefano’s control. He arranges for Doug & Julie to visit and as her father sings to her, she has flashbacks of her younger life with him and gets tears in her eyes. Hope calls out, “Help me”. Later, Bo gives Hope the music box he gave her on New Year’s Eve years ago. Then there song plays on the radio as they are in a bistro and he asks her to dance. Bo is thrilled to feel Hope re-emerging and their souls reconnecting with Hope and we are treated to many classic flashbacks of Bo & Hope, a younger Hope with her father.

Meanwhile, the original Princess Gina is being held captive in a Paris castle. She sneaks into Greta’s room and realizes this is her daughter, she had no idea how much time had passed. Greta screams when she sees her and insists to Erik that her mother is alive. He calls John, who arrives and arranges to have Gina’s body exhumed. Greta is heartbroken when the dental records match, as she was sure her mother was still alive. Plans are made for the big ball in Gina’s honor, as she, Bo, Doug & Julie, Erik & Greta, and Kurt and real Princess Gina (in disguise) all attend. Stefano’s plan is for Gina/Hope to steal the painting that night. During the ball, original Gina overhears Greta confronting Stefano about turning Hope into Gina. I included all of the Hope/Gina scenes and all of the original Princess Gina scenes, and all of Bo’s scenes. Bo & Hope #41 September 30 - November 11, 1999: 8 hour original edit
The original Princess Gina declares she will get revenge against Stefano for taking her life from her, and against Hope for impersonating her. As Hope is tempted to allow Gina back in, Bo reaches out to her and tells her of his love for her, that he can’t go on without her and he needs her, their son needs her. He asks Hope to believe in the love they share and it will set her free from Gina’s hold over her. Hope tells Gina that her love for Bo has set her free from Gina’s hold and it is over, she reaches out to Bo to hold him and kiss him as Gina collapses sobbing and her vision fades away.

The real Princess Gina sets Stefano on fire, and he is bandaged up like the pawn once was. Hope is taken captive in the castle tower room, and real Gina makes her way to Salem and meets Bo on the Fancy Face II as she impersonates Hope. The real Hope is able to escape the castle, but is Stefano has targeted her by the satellite laser and she falls very ill. She is rescued and Kurt arrives pretending to be her husband, Hope doesn’t remember anything. Shawn Douglas is aged to a teen and Bo now has his hands full with a very rebellious and angry teen. No B&H scenes together on the #41B, they are all of Gina playing Hope while Hope is held captive while real Hope is very ill. I really #41A is one of my favorites in a long time as we see real Hope & Bo reconnect and rediscover their love, and it is oh so sweet! Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #42 November 11 - December 30 1999: 8 hour original edit
Gina is in Salem pretending to be Hope, while Hope is being held captive in France. She no memories of who she is and Kurt tells her that she is his wife. Hope begins to have flashbacks of her past life with Bo and realizes he is lying to her. Stefano is desperate to find out if Gina survived. When he learns that Hope is back in Salem but living at the Inn and not on the boat with Bo, he becomes very concerned and immediately heads to Salem. After he questions Lily, he is even more concerned that it is Gina in Salem. Cute moments as Bo & “Hope” chaperone Shawn’s high school dance, and Shawn & Belle do a Saturday Night Fever disco dance (complete with him wearing Travolta’s white suit!). Greta learns that Hope is really her mother, Gina.

Kurt takes Hope to the castle and holds her captive. She finally gets all of her memories back and remembers that she is Hope and in love with Bo. Bo takes Gina to the cabin and they make love, though he knows something is off. Gina confronts Stefano and pulls a gun on him. He is horrified to realize Gina is alive. She tells him that she wants a life with Bo and Greta as Hope. She offers him the Renet if he leaves town. She warns him that if he doesn’t cooperate, that “Hope” will suddenly get all of her memories of Stefano back and she will still live happily ever after. In France, Stefano double crosses Gina and tries to take her captive but Kurt hits him over the head and now he is captive too. Hope hits Gina over the head with a vase, but Kurt saves Gina again (she has paid him off to help her). Gina proposes to Bo at Christmas at the Horton’s and he accepts. Bo & Hope #43 December 31, 1999 - March 20, 2000: 12 hour original edit
This edit kicks off with Bo’s wedding to Gina, who is impersonating Hope (who is locked away in castle in France with Stefano). Shawn knows this is not his mom, but is unable to stop the wedding. At the reception, he listens in as Gina calls to check in with Kurt. He later steals the phone and when he gets Belle to call the number, Kurt calls her, “Princess”. He knows his mother thinks she is Gina. She is soon pulling a gun on Shawn, and forces him up on the ledge outside on the balcony.

Marlena screams as she comes upon the scene and Shawn falls of the 20 story building as Gina shoots at the cement at his feet. He falls to an overhang below. Bo shoots Gina, Roman rescues Shawn. As Gina lays on her deathbed, she thanks Bo for that night they made love, that she felt so loved, she could see the love in his eyes for her. She doesn’t not get to tell him that Hope is alive, and as she dies, she leaves Bo and Hope’s family devastated with grief over Hope dying while trying to kill her own son.

Lots of flashbacks as Bo thinks of Hope, as Gina is dying.. more flashbacks as Hope thinks of Bo from her French prison, and more flashbacks as Doug has his goodbye scenes with “Hope”. So many great scenes with her gram, Doug & Julie, all grieving for her. Bo is furious with Marlena for not telling him how ill “Hope” was, for covering it up, for playing by the patient confidentiality rules and blames her for “Hope’s” death. Julie flies to Bo’s boat on a helicopter to tell him about Gina’s appendectomy scar, and they race to the mortuary to stop the cremation. DNA proves that Gina died, not Hope! John gets his jet ready to fly everyone to France to go look for and rescue Hope, this is the last place that Bo is sure he was with Hope and thinks she is still in France. Rolf has sabotaged the plane to see if John remembers his skills as a mercenary. Bart screws up and winds up exposing both pilots to knock out gas, and half of Salem sitting back in the plane are oblivious to the danger they are in.

I decided to add a bonus #43C dvd to continue to add the scenes of the plane crash to the B&H #43. This was very well done sequence of action scenes that take over two episodes. I was having a difficult time deciding how much to include if I started a #44A with this, so decided to just include a bonus dvd so I could include ALL of the action sequence. This is good by today’s standards, let alone 19 years ago! I also included their ocean landing, and John saving Bo. Bo is only on the island for a very short time as he is almost immediately rescued and heads to France as soon as he is rescued to look for Hope. As Bo searches the castle, Kurt has tied her up and gagged her in a closet. As Bo runs through the castle searching for her, she is unable to call out to him. Soon the gang all arrive, they have a memorial for Princess Gina as she is laid to rest. Hope watches from the turret, banging on the window and calling out to them but they can’t hear her. As the casket is lowered, it slips and falls and Gina’s body spills out, her arm extended pointing towards the turret room. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #44 March 20 - June 19, 2000: 8 hour original edit.
HOPE IS RESCUED at the beginning of this edit! Everyone is overjoyed to see Bo coming out the castle gate with Hope in his arms! She tells him that he is going to be a father. Bo tells John that he doesn’t think that he is the father as he hadn’t slept with Hope, she has no memories of the time she was Gina. Bo surprises her with a romantic evening aboard a yacht complete with twinkly lights, they sail away and they finally make love again. Cute moments as they move into their new home, surrounded by friends and family who help out. Soon Hope goes into labor, they are able to get married just before baby Brady comes into the world. Bo does not recall sleeping with Hope while Stefano had programmed him, so he thinks either John or Stefano is the baby’s father though he does not tell Hope that he isn’t the father.

Stefano of course is scheming and arranges for the childless Abe & Lexi to adopt the baby of a distant DiMera cousin and has Rolf switch the babies just after birth. Unfortunately, the DiMera baby is suffering from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome though not yet diagnosed and is very fussy. Abe & Lexi take their baby home (really baby Brady), while Hope and baby Carver stay in the hospital. Hope instinctively knows something is wrong with the baby, and Bo becomes more and more concerned. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #45 June 20 - November 6, 2000: 8 hour original edit.
John is shocked to learn that Bo & Hope name the baby after him. They later begin to call him JT (John Thomas). Hope struggles to care for an agitated baby with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Her and Lexie spend time together with their babies and their friendship develops a deeper bond. John is determined to get a DNA sample and goes so far to take the baby off the porch, scaring Hope who finds him missing. Stefano learns that he is not the baby’s father, and then he has the lab results switched so that John thinks he is the father.

Hope still has no idea that Bo is not the father, and can’t imagine that she would have ever slept with another man as she loves Bo so much. She tells Bo she wants to get pregnant again and they make love. We learn about a Brady factory outside of Dublin and Bo heads there to investigate why Stefano has this vendetta against the Bradys. John finally tells Marlena that he is the father of Hope’s baby, and she has a meltdown to learn he slept with Hope on their honeymoon and has lied to her for months. Bo is taken hostage in Ireland, and Jennifer Horton appears and helps him escape! Meanwhile, baby John needs emergency surgery and Lexie actually tells her the baby has died but of course he survives. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #46 November 7, 2000 - February 15, 2001: 8 hour original edit.
After a conversation with Marlena, Hope realizes that Bo is not her baby’s father. Hope thinks that Stephano is JT’s father and tells John she wants to move away to protect the baby from Stephano. John blurts out that he is the baby’s father and she can’t take her son away. Bo & Jennifer are on the run in Ireland. Cute montages as Days celebrates their 35th Anniversary, and great fantasy sequence as Bo imagines dancing with Hope on the cruise ship that has rescued him and Jennifer. Finally reunited, Hope tells Bo that she knows he isn’t JT’s father but she doesn’t tell him that John is. She asks John to not tell Bo.

Nice celebration as their friends and family throw a surprise combination Wedding shower for Hope and a bachelor party for Bo. Bo & Hope remarry in a simple heartfelt ceremony (Alice is a bridesmaid!), followed by a reception that involves everyone doing a Conga Line! At the end of the evening, Bo & Hope share a dance alone to their song. Bo has whisked her into his arms and they hear a scream from outside as Belle & Shawn find a body frozen in the ice (it is Marlo mother of the baby Lexi thinks she adopted, though Bo & Hope are raising Marlo’s baby thinking he is theirs due to the baby swap). Bo & Hope enjoy their honeymoon alone time later at home. Lexie freaks out when she later finds Marlo’s body at Stefano’s. She is terrified that she will lose her baby and reams Stefano that stealing Marlo’s body just draws attention to her death.

Greta’s coronation is attended by many Salemites, and beautiful ballroom scenes as Bo & Hope dance the night away. The evening erupts in gunfire and there are multiple casualties, Victor, Greta, Mimi, and John. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #47 February 15 - June 15, 2001: 8 hour original edit
This one is a great edit, lots of action, great storytelling that involves multiple cast members, great ensemble work! I continued to include every Bo & every Hope scene, and Lexi & Stefano scenes as needed to tell the storyline. There are a few additional scenes of Glen (JT's bio dad) & Barb, and John enters the action towards the end to save his son. This one was a lot of fun to watch and to edit. Renee Jones is brilliant as Lexie as she struggles with her conscience, her friendship with Hope and her love for Hope's son - the son she has raised as her own since birth. Throw in Stefano's meddling, using her fear of losing her baby and let the scheming begin! Can't wait to watch the next few months!

Lexi freaks out when a composite photo of Marlo is released to try to identify the body they found. Marlo’s ex boyfriend (Glenn) sees her photo on the news and recognizes her. He is shows up at Salem PD and is adamant that he wants to find his son! Glen shows up at the hospital pretending to be a new cop in town. He mentions Marlo having her baby there and the nurses blab about her baby being born the same night as Bo & Hope’s. They also tell him that Abe & Lexi adopted the baby! It is good that Jennifer is back in town and Hope has a true friend to rely on and love seeing them reconnect. Bo continues to try to find out who is JT's biological father and pushes Hope to tell him the truth. John is so overly interested that Bo becomes suspicious about John. Hope is about to tell him the night at Tuscany just as the room explodes around them. Marlena & Hope have a series of confrontations over John being the father of Hope's baby, and Hope wanting to tell Bo the truth.

A court orders a DNA test, Brandon switches JT’s DNA with Isaac’s and is shocked when JT’s DNA is a match for Glen’s! He fills Lexi in. She remembers Hope admitting that Bo was not JT's birth father, and she thinks Glen is the father of Hope’s baby is? Lexi confronts Stefano about the DNA results and starts to put it all together that he switched Marlo’s baby with Hope’s! Great series of scenes as Stefano & Lexie go to Tuscany for dinner (to have an alibi), Bo & Hope decide to go out for a romantic evening after making love, and Marlena & John are also there. Tension as B&H argue about JT's paternity and Bo demanding to know the truth that he thinks Hope is withholding, everyone suspicious as to why Lexi is out with Stefano as she is waiting DNA results, and Bo pumps Marlena for paternity info and she then warns Hope.

Stefano sets off a series of explosions throughout Salem that same night, one destroys the lab running the DNA test, and the other hits Tuscany as a bomb explodes outside the restaurant. The bridge is blown out and Jennifer's car skids off and dangles over the side with JT in the back seat. The door swings open and the car seat and baby fall to the river below. Roman is shocked when Jennifer reports his nephew fell 50 feet and he starts the search for the baby. Hope is desperately worried, and her and Bo search. Glenn & Barb come upon the baby (in Isaac's car seat) and think it is his son and take him and hide him. Glenn plans on keeping him until he can get a DNA test to prove he is the babies father.

Lexi is injured in the explosion and she breaks down at the hospital when she learns JT may have died in the accident. She keeps asking how she will ever look Hope in the eye again, knowing she is raising her baby. Hattie comes forward and tells Roman and Bo about seeing a body at Stefano's, and they realize it was Marlo's body. Big action sequence as Roman thinks he finally has the evidence to put Stefano away. He, Bo, and police officers surround Stefano's place as Lexi rushes in. Soon John also arrives and demands to know what Stefano has done with HIS son, so now she knows who JT's biological father is. In order to escape, Stefano takes Lexie at gunpoint as a hostage and shots fired, Lexie falls and once again Stefano escapes. Glen & Barb eventually see the news and realize they have the wrong baby and return him to a relieved Bo & Hope, who throw a welcome home party. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #48 June 15 - December 19, 2001: 12 hour original edit
On this edit, John is astonished when Lexie confides that Hope told her about Bo not being JT’s father, and she knows John is! Hope is shocked when John later tells her that Lexie knows he is JT’s father. Hope is desperate to remember her life as Princess Gina and wants John to tell her everything he knows about her then. The new DNA test shows that Glenn is not Isaac’s father. Hope muses to Lexie about how Isaac is healthy even though Marlo drank, and JT has FAS. Almost like they were switched at birth and Lexie freaks out. Rolf suggests to give Hope back the Princess Gina memories, she will once again become obsessed with John and forget all about the baby drama. This will distract both Hope and Bo. John touches Hope’s neck and feels the chip. He has the knowledge to remove it, though if he fails he could kill Hope.

Bo confronts Lexie about the baby switch and threatens her if she hurts Hope. Bo questions the nurse’s at the hospital about the night JT is born and learns that the babies were briefly placed in the wrong bassinettes. Barb returns later in the year and blackmails Lexie over JT’s paternity. She had received the DNA test Glen had done and it showed that he is JT’s father, but Barb destroyed it. But she has figured out the truth that the babies were switched at birth. She demands $1 million! Rolf attacks Barb and puts her in the hospital.

DVD #48C - This is a great dvd with tons of action and big reveals. After Barb is attacked, she raises her blackmail to $2 million. Cute scenes as Bo & Hope, Jarlena, Mickey & Maggie enjoy a celebration dinner, and Bo & Hope share flashbacks of getting married. John tells Hope that he wants to remove the chip. Hope worries about losing herself as Hope and Gina taking over, but eventually agrees. Lexie throws a party for Hope to get her to the DiMera mansion so Rolf can observe her as he tries to reactivate her chip and bring back her Gina memories. Lexie’s costume reminds me of the Evil Queen from Snow White, very fitting! Lexie insists she will only proceed if Hope isn’t hurt. Rolf admits privately, he doesn’t know if Hope will survive but he never tells Lexie about the risks. Barb blackmails her way into the party. Rolf begins the process and Hope is flooded with Gina memories throughout the evening. She asks John for help and he takes her to a bedroom to remove the chip. She becomes Gina and kisses John just as Bo walks in and sees them together lying on the bed. Hope chases after Bo and insists it was Gina who was kissing John, and John backs her up. Barb walks in and announces that someone has been lying to everyone. Rolf takes her out with a tranquilizer dart and she collapses and is rushed to the hospital before she can spill the secret of the baby switch. Bo knows Hope has been keeping something from him and he guesses that it is that John is JT’s father. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #49 December 20, 2001 - February 22, 2002: 8 hour original edit
This edit contains the Kristen & Peter’s scenes from a very special Christmas episode as the actors discuss their memories of their characters with flashbacks (year of 9/11). This is followed by a very special pure Bo & Hope episode filled with flashbacks. Nice that as Bo is reeling with the news that John is JT’s father, and he Lexie prevents Rolf from killing Barb, the line she won’t cross. When Abe overhears her and Rolf plotting, she confesses that Barb is blackmailing her for $2 million for burning down the lab. He realizes Barb only has power if this is true, and tells her there is evil in this house and it is HER! Meanwhile, Barb tells Glenn that he is JT’s father and he was switched at birth and is actually Marlo’s baby. Cameron arrives as Glenn’s attorney, he is suing for custody of JT! Lexie tells Abe that John is JT’s father. The Carvers are served with a court order for DNA testing of Isaac for possible baby switch. B&H are also served papers for DNA testing on JT, he turns out to be Glenn’s son. The court then grants him supervised visitation. John barges into the mansion and gets Isaac’s DNA for a new test. He recruits Marlena to obtain Hope’s DNA so they can have it tested. John tells Hope that the DNA test results prove she is Isaac’s mother and he is NOT the father. Marlena reports that their blood types show that Stefano is not Isaac’s father. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #50 February 22 - June 20, 2001: 8 hour original edit
Hope runs into Celeste and Isaac and holds her son for the first time since learning he is her biological son. Lexie freaks to find Hope holding him and the police are called when Hope refuses to get him back. Bo and Abe arrive and talk her down. Hope is heartbroken when they lose custody of JT to Glenn and have to turn over their son. Scenes from a special episode are included. The entire show was set in the Brady living room as the Hortons and Bradys all gather to support Bo and Hope as they have to give up their baby. Hope sues for custody of Isaac. Lexie retaliates by giving all the dirt she can on Bo and Hope for a tabloid. Abe follows Lexie to a meeting with the reporter and disgusted by her actions, he leaves her. Lexie takes Isaac and goes on the run. Abe gets a court order giving Hope custody of Isaac, and they track Lexie to an airfield and get Isaac back, and Lexie is arrested.

To celebrate the 50th edit in this series, I decided to add in a #50C dvd at no additional cost. The #50B ended just before Hope remembered sleeping with Bo in Paris and I felt like that needed to be included to wrap up this storyline and should be on this edit. Isaac will be christened as Zach Brady. The christening episode was from the Bo & Hope marathon complete with Kristen & Peter’s commentary and Kim and Melissa’s return visit.

Rolf’s idea is to poison the baptismal water so the baby appears to have died, and then he will be brought back to life and Lexie can take him and leave the country. Lexie refuses due to the risk to the baby, but Rolf proceeds. Lexie interrupts the ceremony and knocks over the baptismal font so the water has to be replaced. I was also able to include the high school graduation, with Jennifer’s key note speech. The Bradys throw a birthday party at the pub for Zach. When Lexie escapes the mental institution, Bo and Hope take Zach away on the Fancy Face for a few days. Lexie turns herself in and goes back to the institution but Rolf pays off her doctor and she is soon released. This is a 12 hour edit on three 4 hour dvds and this concludes the Baby Swap storyline. Bo & Hope #51 June 21 - October 18, 2002: 8 hour original edit
Tony DiMera and Billie Reed both return to town. Tony announces that Stefano is dead, and soon Bo & Hope receive a formal invitation to his memorial and the reading of his will. Billie is arrives as the new cop in town and Hope is suspicious of her motives, she thinks to get closer to Bo. Big 4th of July party in the Brady’s backyard, with a meteor shower and aliens landing! Don’t worry, B&H aren’t involved in the alien storyline. Cute scene as Marlena & Hope crack up over their children’s reports of aliens landing, classic scene. Lexie’s sentencing hearing and she gets a two year probation. Bo has the hospital surveillance analyzed and find that the bracelets were switched. While Hope is visiting in Iowa, Barb fills Hope in on Lexie knowing about the baby switch long before Bo & Hope did, and that Lexie paid her off to keep quiet. Shawn moves into the college dorm with his dad’s help. Billie and Bo are assigned to do an undercover assignment when a hit is put out on Victor but Bo is very opposed to being partnered with her.

For the one year anniversary of 9/11, Days has a "Celebration of Heroes" in the park as Alice is honored for her contributions to the community. Bo & Billie are recognized for their heroics in stopping the assassination. Nice to see Bo and Roman in their dress uniforms as they recognize service of the police officers. Bo is so excited that Hope is finally coming home. We see her on the phone in the car on her way to the airport, but when Bo arrives at the airport to pick her up her and Zack never arrive. Bo goes on a furious hunt looking for his family, even travels to Iowa but they just disappeared. We see Hope tied up in the back of a car with a mystery man driving, and Zach safely snug in his car seat. The kidnapping storyline kicks off at the end of the #51B, but Hope’s return begins on the #52A.

Note: Kristen is about 7 months pregnant so is back burnered for the #51A, which has lots of Bo scenes, so a good edit for Bo fans. She goes on maternity leave end of July and is back filming in Oct, though she did pre tape scenes to be aired in August and September while she is gone. So Hope makes a few phone calls home on the #51B but otherwise isn’t on it much. She goes to Iowa to be with JT when he needs a follow up surgery. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #52 October 18, 2002 - January 3, 2003: 8 hour original edit
Kristen returns from maternity leave, and we learn that Larry Welch has kidnapped Hope. Great storyline as Bo grows increasingly desperate to get his wife back. Larry sets up Lexie to look like the kidnapper when he leaves Zach where Lexie can find him, and makes sure Roman and Bo find them together. Larry forces Hope to write Bo a goodbye letter, she gives him very obscure clues about her tormentor, will Bo figure it out in time? This one was really good, with some nice twists and turns. One of the best is the return of Shane Donovan! He isn’t in this all that much, as most of his scenes are with John but he is key in Hope’s return. Larry is presumed dead, but we soon see him hiding out at the Horton family cabin.

For this one if you haven’t seen this storyline, best to just watch it and not know what will happen next! Its THAT good, shocking, devastating, surprising, heart warming, joyful. The reunion scenes are so incredibly sweet and satisfying, not just Bo & Hope but all of their friends and family gather to celebrate and welcome her home, followed by a joyful Brady/Horton Thanksgiving. No one does happy holidays like Days! Bo & Hope share a romantic Christmas as he surprises her with another music box, with “Celebrate Our Love” that plays, complete with flashbacks of when he gave her the first music box. Christmas is a sweet time as they spend the day together, with a few earlier flashbacks and of course we get the Horton/Brady family Christmas. They are happy and in love, though Hope begins to have visions of Larry Welch, even to the point of hallucinating that he is in front of her as someone else’s face transforms into his. This edit ends as they gather for Victor’s wedding to Nicole, and Victor has a hit put out on Colin. Meanwhile, Colin is trying to kill Bo and is waiting and watching from the terrace with his gun ready. Click here to read the description.

Bo & Hope #53 January 3 - March 10, 2003: 8 hour original edit
This edit kicks off as Bo’s is Victor’s best man in his wedding to Nicole, Coin’s dead body is found on the estate. Hope has disappeared and a relieved Bo finds her at home, though he is shocked to see her hand covered in blood. This kicks off who killed Colin? Jack confesses to protect Jennifer as he thinks she killed him. When he realizes she did not, he recants. Hope has visions of Larry’s dead body and they tease with the idea that Hope killed Larry or possibly Colin hallucinating he was Larry. Hope continues to “see” Larry and when he realizes she is hallucinating, he begins to appear as he gaslights her. Bo & Hope celebrate Alice’s birthday, complete with flashbacks of them with her in their younger years.

Hope realizes the latest vision of Larry involved him running away and begins to suspect he is actually alive. Bo finds a matchbook to the hotel Larry is staying at and the motel clerk identifies him. Bo has proof that Larry is alive. Larry has drugged her tranquilizers saying it will kill her. Hope throws them out in the trash. Sean finds them and begins to take them himself. Larry takes up residence in the sewer outside of Bo & Hope’s house. Bo & Hope enjoy a romantic time away at Green Mountain, complete with roses, chocolates, memories, and dancing by candlelight. Alice interrupts their time away to tell them about Shawn popping pills. Back home, Larry has poisoned the house with carbon monoxide. As Hope and Belle are almost unconscious, Larry takes them hostage with the plan of kidnapping Hope to be his slave forever. They are rescued just in time, Bo tenderly holds his wife. Larry is arrested. Roman overhears Shawn confessing to Bo that he killed Colin, and Roman arrests him. Bo goes to Victor for help. Victor knows that Nicole really killed Colin and he has the murder weapon planted and then blackmails Larry into confessing and identifying where the gun was buried. Bo & Hope are thrilled and celebrate the wonderful news with Shawn at the PD. Reminder, I also include the Days Episode Bonus Dvd with this order. Bo & Hope #54 March 10 - June 24, 2003: 8 hour original edit
Larry changes his plea to not guilty as Tony has a hit out on him. Victor negotiates with Tony to drop the hit, Larry pleads guilty and is off to prison. The gang celebrate St Patrick’s Day at the Brady Pub, what a great idea! Cute scene at a carnival as they flashback to their first kiss at the 4th of July kissing booth, and then they take advantage of a broken sauna at the health club. Hope rescues Jenn, and Jack helps them both escape attackers. Bo arrests Vin, a bust of a lifetime. Vin makes threats against Bo and targets drugging Shawn at a party. Bo gets more and more disillusioned and angry at the justice system, with criminals getting off on technicalities, and gives his resignation from the police force. Bo starts tinkering with his motorcycle, trigging another early B&H flashback when Bo gave Hope a ride home from Shenanigan’s. They bring in Vin together and decide to go into business together as bounty hunters! They decide to sell the Fancy Face II to finance their new business as Hope learns she is broke. Bo & Hope #55 June 24 - November 4, 2003: 8 hour original edit
Wow this is a great suspenseful edit, especially the #55B once the Stalker Storyline begins, wow!! It kicks off with Bo surprising Hope with a new big black SUV for their new bounty hunting business, which only lasts a couple of months. They do take time out for a romantic 4th of July, watching fireworks from the roof top. No one grieves when Larry Welch finally dies, and Hope wishes him good riddance. They take on Cree and his mysterious goop and save the native Americans by blowing up the cave with the goop destroying Tony’s scheme. Soon after Bo & Hope are attacked and found lying in pools of blood during the big Salem fashion show. Bo makes it through surgery and recovers quickly but Hope flat lines and a nail biter to find out if she survives!

Once she does, Alice begins having premonitions and sees B&H’s picture move as Tom’s ghost tries to warn her of impending doom. Abe asks them for help for a threat agains him and plans on retiring. They decide to end their new business and rejoin the police force in order to find the attacker and help Abe. The day of Theo’s christening, Celeste shares with Hope her horrible premonition of Abe’s death. When Abe doesn’t show, B&H go looking for him and he is found shot. Tragically he is the first victim of the Salem Stalker. Jack is soon the next victim, and then Maggie is targeted and she lets her in as it is obviously someone Maggie knows and trusts. Bo & Hope #56 November 4, 2003 - February 26, 2004: 12 hour original edit, includes 4 hr bonus dvd
The very suspenseful well written non-stop Salem Stalker storyline continues on this edit! Mickey finds a bloody Maggie after she has been attacked, and he is attacked as well. There is video feed sent to the PD, and Hope watches in horror as she realizes Maggie is the next victim. The Brady family is devastated when Caroline is murdered the day of Abe and Jack and Maggie's triple funeral. They did a great job of reminding us of how much we love Caroline via classic flashbacks with some of those characters she was closest too before she is murdered (Shawn her grandson, Victor, and hubby Shawn). Celeste has numerous visions of impending doom that were also included. This leads into several episodes around Caroline’s wake and the aftermath of her death. I also included Kimberly returning for her mother’s funeral, Shawn D.’s grief as he says goodbye to his grandmother, then the series of scenes as Caroline’s ghost appears to Celeste to warn her Marlena is the next target! She gets Lexie to administer poison control and Marlena survives just in time to save Hope from eating the same poisoned dip.

On the #56B, Bo talks to his ghost mom during a dream. During Caroline’s funeral, Bo receives the message that Roman is the next victim! Cute scenes as Bo and Shawn go Christmas shopping for their ladies and try to pick out lingerie. Hope & Belle come upon them and secretly watch them trying to shop for negligees. Christmas at the Horton’s and Jennifer reads the Christmas story at the hospital party. More heartbreak when Roman is found murdered during his wedding reception with Kate, followed by Roman’s funeral. Bo & Hope and John tackle the masked killer and his identity is revealed! It is Tony, who swears he was trying to catch the killer. Tony is released due to lack of evidence that he is the killer. At the cemetary, Marlena’s name is also on the tombstone and Hope envisions that Roman’s name is replaced with Bo’s name on the headstone. Bo & Hope #57 February 26 - April 29, 2004: 8 hour original edit
This was an extremely challenging edit to compile, so difficult to decide in some cases what additional scenes to include. I always include all of Bo’s scenes and all of Hope’s and that continues to be the primary focus and fortunately they are heavily involved in this storyline. I did add in quite a few additional scenes that I felt where needed to tell the suspenseful storyline but really debated in a few spots. I included Doug (who now believes Marlena is the killer) going to Celeste and she reads his Tarot cards and he sees that Marlena is the killer. He then goes to visit Addie’s grave and finds Marlena at the cemetery. He confronts her and she admits to being the killer. Celeste has a vision and tells Hope who rushes to the cemetery and Bo meets her there. Sadly Marlena stalks and murders Doug and a devastated Hope finds him. Tom sends Alice a message and she visits his grave and finds the clue from Doug with Marlena’s name written in his blood. John thinks he saw Marlena at the cemetery when Doug was murdered, but can’t believe his own eyes. He goes to Celeste and she summons the dark spirits (blazing candles turn into fiery torches) and confirms that Marlena could be a host again to evil spirits and John already knows the answer of who the killer is.

Just as Alice realizes that Marlena is the killer, she calls John and tells him. Marlena hacks into PCPD and sees the video footage of Alice and realizes she found the clue. Alice is waiting in the dark as Marlena enters her home. The ghosts of Maggie, Caroline, and Roman chase Marlena off but she soon returns and murders Alice. John confronts Marlena, she admits she is the murderer, pulls a gun on him and during the struggle she falls off the balcony. John brings in Hattie Adams to University Hospital and presents her as the true murderer. Bart provides alibis that she was not in town during the murders. Bo arrests her for the murders and she is taken to jail. Marlena is attacked in jail by other inmates and goes back to the hospital. She agrees to take truth serum as she wants answers as well. First she tells the story of killing Abe as Lexie grieves, then Jennifer hears the story of her killing Jack, all with flashbacks. Bo & Hope are integral to many of these scenes and are part of the group action, but this one is not only a Bo & Hope edit but a bit of the Stalker storyline. The primary focus remains on B&H of course, but added in additional scenes to also tell the stalker storyline - which is incredibly well done, and oh so suspenseful but those additional scenes of Marlena attacking her victims are integral, as are Celestes visions and ghostly conversations. Bo & Hope #58 April 29 - July 29, 2004: 8 hour original edit
This edit continues with the stalker storyline. Family members of each of the murder victims are able to hear Marlena’s confession about the murder of their loved ones complete with flashbacks of Maggie, then Caroline, Cassie, Roman, Alice, Doug, then Tony. Marlena is confused when she is questioned about Victor’s death and declares she did not kill him. She is taken to jail, attacked by another prisoner and winds up on the roof and is shot and killed by a sniper. Marlena’s spirit appears to Lexi and tells her the danger isn’t over, that everyone in Salem will die! Shawn is upset over Belle lying and giving Marlena an alibi and declares he is leaving town. Jan kidnaps him and holds him hostage as Bo & Hope grow increasingly worried over his whereabouts.

I added several island scenes as Marlena arrives on the island and is is thrilled to see Alice, but figures it just confirms she is dead. Alice tells her that they are both very much alive! Marlena is then greatly relieved to see Roman, Abe, Maggie. Jennifer gets a message from Jack (or so she thinks) and follows instructions to meet him at the airport. Hope rushes desperately to stop her, as Patrick indicates she is being set up. Jenn’s plane crashes on the island and Jack saves her from falling off a cliff and they are reunited (just included a couple of short scenes here). Hope and Patrick try to follow her and their plane is shot down by a missile as Bo watches the ATC flight screen and he screams in agony. He choppers out to the crash site but does not find any sign of Hope. She makes it to the island and is shocked to find Roman, Marlena, Abe, and Maggie. Heart warming moments when she first sees her gram alive and then her daddy! Hope and Patrick go off into the jungle search of Jennifer. Meanwhile, Marlena’s body is exhumed and her coffin is empty!Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #59 July 28 - October 25, 2004: 8 hour original edit
Roman uses toy parts to create a radio signal that Bo intercepts. He decodes it and learns that Roman & Marlena are both alive! John and Bo fly a plane to the island (where Hope crashed). They are thrilled to find their loved ones alive! Bo is desperate to find Hope who is out in the jungle looking for Jennifer. Meanwhile, Hope is having her Indiana Jones adventure in the jungle trying to save Jennifer. When Bo finally finds Hope, they are reunited briefly but then then against Hope’s objections, he goes back into the jungle to try to find Billie. He had seen her laying unconscious on the jungle floor. Roman and John have a plan to escape off the island and want the group to stay together. Hope refuses to leave the island without Bo, and heads out into the jungle to find him as she continues her Indiana Jones adventure. Tony tells Bart the whole story of how they tricked the entire town complete with flashbacks.

Hope finds Jennifer and the baby taking refuge in the cave and gets her safely back to the compound. She then ventures out again, determined to bring home Jack to his family. Bo & Hope are finally reunited in the jungle. They rescue Jack and bring him back to Jennifer. Bo insists on heading back into the jungle to search for Billie, as Hope objects and begs him not to go. Hope steals the remote control device that controls the force field from Tony’s home. Hope has found Patrick cold and suffering from exposure. She removes her clothes in order to warm him up. He takes advantage of their closeness and kisses her. Bo is not happy when he finds them snuggled up together as Hope tries to explain. Bo later finds Billie swimming in a pool, and dives in after her as he hears her scream. Tony takes them all captive and holds them in the dungeons of the island. They learn the island is to be destroyed in an explosion. The gang are all brought into Stefano’s study, though the chair is turned away from them as Tony confronts them all and brags about his role in all of this.
Note: Billie Reed is now played by PC’s Julie Pinson (Eve). They are able to escape from the island, amidst running flows of lava on the #60A, and are rescued by the Coast Guard, face Tsunami force waves after the volcano erupts into the ocean. Bo & Hope #60 Oct 26, 2004 - Jan 5, 2005: 8 hour original edit
This edit contains the finale of the Salem Stalker storyline finally! This storyline covered from the #55A-#60A, the longest story line I recall edited. The gang confronts Tony in the study, and when Stefano turns around his chair we see a corpse! The island’s volcano is about to erupt threatening to kill them all. When the mansion explodes, everyone escapes and B&H go into the jungle looking for Billie. Hope & Billie are soon surrounded by a raging lava flow as Bo grabs a vine and swings into rescue them. They are able to escape and take rafts off the island. But the danger isn’t over yet as the volcano sets off a tsunami that crashes over the escaping Salemites.

They are soon picked up the Coast Guard though Roman & Marlena, and Caroline and Victor are nowhere to be found and presumed dead. Bo & Hope return home and are reunited with their boys. They have an enjoyable day in bed together, full or romance! Just a brief moment of joy before their world gets rocked with the news that the mysterious DiMera disk revealed that Bo & Billie’s baby Georgia is still alive! Bo & Billie leave for Europe to look for her but turn up empty handed. Bo is injured during a fall and returns home bruised and battered. When Belle marries Phillip, Shawn crashes his motorcycle through the stained glass window to try to stop the wedding. When Billie arrives with the news that she has a message from Georgia on her PDA, Hope refuses to allow the injured Bo to go with Billie again. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #61 January 5 - April 12, 2005: 8 hour original edit
Bo & Billie go to the DiMera estate in Europe tracking Georgia. When Hope doesn’t hear from Bo, Hope & Patrick rush to the rescue after he and Billie have been taken prisoner. They find a young woman named Georgia but turns out she is not their daughter, was a set up by Tony DiMera. When B&H return home, they have a romantic evening in front of the fire, and then he surprises her with her bedroom decorated with heart balloons, flowers, champagne, lit candles for a Valentine’s Day surprise. He tells her that he will love her for the rest of his days. He gives her a bracelet with a boat charm on it to remind her of when they sailed off together. The nice thing about B&H is through all of this turbulence, they have these special romantic moments between the two of them that remind the viewer of why we love this couple. When Billie gets into trouble with the law, Bo brings her home after her court date telling a horrified Hope that she is moving in as he took responsibility for her. Sami/Stan is working with Tony and leaves a locket of Georgia’s hair on the doorstep, and they rush off to have it analyzed. It proves that Georgia is alive and the child Bo & Billie thought they had lost. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #62 April 14 - September 5, 2005 8 hour original edit
Roman and Marlena finally escape and return home to Salem, Bo is reunited with his brother. Tony lures Bo and Billie with another Georgia clue and they both wind up falling into a pit with gas that causes Bo to hallucinate. He thinks he is there with Hope. Soon Hope and Patrick arrive to rescue them and find Bo & Billie in a compromising situation. Hope knows Billie knew exactly what she was doing and hauls off and slugs Billie. Bo makes continual efforts to show Hope that she is the love of his life. He takes her on a romantic picnic at the Horton cabin and these long series of scenes air over three episodes. He then surprises her with the Fancy Face III and they take off for a romantic trip alone together. Billie tries to get Bo to go follow another Georgia clue but he refuses and keeps his plans with Hope. Tony has messed with the boat’s navigation and they are headed to the island.

Hope is kidnapped off the boat while Bo sleeps, and he wakes to find her gone. But follows the clues to the island. Meanwhile, Hope is continually beating up Bart, and even set fire to him. She is reunited with Caroline and Victor, and soon Bo joins them. He is thrilled to learn his parents are alive. Patrick and Billie have made their way there as well to aid in the rescue. Patrick pretends to still be working for Tony. Tony shares that Georgia is alive and living in Salem right under their noses! Explosions go off outside, and Bo and Hope over power the guards! Tony is arrested and everyone is free. Once home, the Bradys are reunited. Patrick soon suggests to Billie that Georgia could be her daughter. Bo and Billie go to Lexie to run a DNA test and confirms she is their daughter. They rush to tell her, and she is NOT happy. She doesn’t believe them and slaps Billie. Bo & Hope #63 September 5, 2005 - January 16, 2006 8 hour original edit.
Bo and Hope share share a romantic get away on board the Fancy Face III. On this edit we find out Jack is dying, Chelsea decides to manipulate her parent’s and grandma Kate into getting what she wants, Bo continues to be suspicious and jealous of Patrick. Bo & Hope race to the rescue when Jack’s car goes off the bridge and later they attend his funeral. When Bo gets trapped while rescue diving, Patrick goes in to rescue him. There are quite a few lovely Brady family scenes as Bo & Hope have some sweet romantic couple moments, and quite a few more scenes as a family with Zach. They enjoy Christmas together, decorating the tree, taking a new family photo in front of their tree. They also enjoy their traditional Horton family Christmas and of course hang their ornaments on the trees there, then they attend the Christmas party at the hospital. There are some great B&H flashback scenes as they take a walk down memory lane for Days 40th Anniversary. Love of festive joyful scenes.

Chelsea skids off the road in a car accident and when Bo & Hope arrive at the hospital they are told she has died. Great relief when it is mistaken identity and she is not seriously injured. The Brady’s all gather at the hospital as Belle’s baby Claire is fighting for her life and needs a transplant. Even though Chelsea’s license is suspended pending traffic school, Bo signs for her to get her temporary license and allows her to borrow the car on New Year’s Eve. She hits something in the road while reaching for her cell phone, not realising she has hit Zach. Hope finds her little boy lying in the street when she arrives to pick him up from his sleeper over. She rushes him to the hospital and Lexie performs surgery and the family has arrived to support them. Sadly the boy is brain dead as Bo and Hope grieve the agony of losing their young son. Baby Claire is in dire need of a transplant and his kidney donation saves her life. Police officers have traced the towed SUV to Max’s garage and know it is Bo’s car and this is the vehicle responsible for the hit and run. They patiently wait to question him, as he realizes it was Chelsea driving. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #64 January 16 April 4, 2006 12 hour original edit
The aftermath of Zach's death unfolds. Billie claims responsibility for the hit and run accident that killed Zach in order to protect Cheslea. Patrick reveals it was actually Chelsea driving after he locates survelliance video clearing Billie. Hope is devastated when she learns that Chelsea was driving and Bo knew. Kate suggests that Chelsea attand Zach's funeral though Billie warns her not to. Since Chelsea wants to create a further divide between Bo and Hope, she shows up and creates a scene when she is told to leave. Bo pushes Patrick during their confrontation and Patrick falls into Zach's picture sending it crashing to the floor, breaking the glass. Hope kicks Bo out. He winds up drinking and fighting at the Cheatin' Heart. Billie gets a call and goes to Bo's aid. He takes off on his motorcyle and she finds him at Zach's graveside in the freezing cold. She takes him to a hotel and she sleeps in a chair. Chelsea calls Billie and tells her that Hope is on her way over and begs Billie to help Bo stay on Chelsea's side. Billie climbs into bed with Bo and makes it look like they are together when Hope walks in.

Chelsea learns that Patrick is heading to Morgan Island, and gets Abby to innocently suggest to Hope that it would be good for her to get away and clear her head and also tells her about Morgan Island. Hope arrives and soon finds Patrick is also there. Shawn is bitter towards his father but Belle talks him into inviting his father to their wedding. Belle stops the wedding and everyine on the know thinks she is going to tell Shawn that he is Claire's father but no she is just pointing out that Chelsea has arrived as she knows Shawn doesn't want her there. Shawn agrees and stops the wedding to throw Chelsea out. Bo takes Chelsea away and Shawn feels he is choosing her over his son's wedding. Chelsea continues to scheme by sending Hope an email with the article of Bo taking Chelsea out of Shawn's wedding. When Hope suggests a divorce, Chelsea is thrilled her plot is working and quickly agrees acting as Bo. Hope is devastated that Bo is giving up on them. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #65 May 1 - September 13, 2006: 12 hour original edit
A drunk Bo has Hope flashbacks and starts kissing Billie, she realises he thinks she is Hope. Chelsea is about to tell Bo the truth about her plot (and emails) to come between him and Hope. She finds him and Billie making out and decides not to tell him after all. Hope is on the island and sleeps with Patrick. Marlena & Alex arrive at their island hotel for their honeymoon, he is drugging Marlena, and John soon arrives, followed by Bo. Hope is devastated to learn that Patrick was working for Alex. Bo & Hope are on the verge of making up, as they both admit they still love each other. Then Jennifer calls with news about Chelsea’s trial being moved up and Hope is furious that Bo didn’t tell her.

Hope returns to Salem, and her and Bo kiss at Zach’s grave, and he takes her out to dinner. Kate is approached by a cop to remove the evidence during Chelsea’s trial, the video evidence dvd goes missing and Bo is accused of taking it. Kayla returns home, and they are all shocked to learn both Jack and Steve are alive when they show up at Jennifer & Frankie’s wedding, Steve has amnesia. Hope faints and they learn she is pregnant, and later learn that Patrick is the father. Bo continues to try to win Hope back, and they finally figure out that Chelsea changed Bo’s emails to Hope. Bo & Hope #66 September 13 - November 17, 2006: 8 hour original edit
Bo races to try to solve the Eve murder case, as he has to prove he didn’t steal the evidence against Chelsea and this is the only way to get Hope to trust him again! When he is late to their divorce hearing, Billie testifies and tells about the set up to have Hope believe they slept together but nothing happened between them that night. Bo is arrested Patrick for Eve’s murder, though we later learned that Patrick planted the evidence against him to make Bo look like he was setting Patrick up. Patrick had an airtight alibi, he was with Hope when Eve was killed. Bo & Hope draw closer as they share memories of the of them together as they are creating a list of special moments in Steve & Kayla’s relationship as Steve tries to bring Kayla out her coma after they were both poisoned by a bio-toxin as the Brady’s hold vigil for her. Bo tells Hope she is a grandma, as Baby Claire is Shawn’s daughter! They finally reunite and spend the night together on the Fancy Face III. We learn that Patrick is working with EJ and they are responsible for all the Brady’s troubles. Patrick has paid off Hope’s OB-GYN into saying that he is the baby’s father, though it is actually Bo! Hope tells Patrick she is DONE with him, she is tired of him lying and hiding too many things from her. Bo moves back home, and he is SO happy with a huge grin on his face as he sits on his own couch! Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #67 November 17, 2006 - February 27, 2007: 8 hour original edit
Bo & John gain access to EJ’s safe deposit box, and find the tarot cards. They go to Celeste for help as to their meaning. The PD halts the investigation into EJ after he sues the department. After Chelsea feels left out on Thanksgiving, she texts the picture of Bo and Billie making out in bed to Steve and Hope, and Patrick. Bo sends Hope flowers with a beautiful card, she cries and runs into his arms as he happily kisses her. Just before they make love, Hope receives the picture. Later Bo is irate when he returns home to find that Patrick broke a vase while arguing with Hope. He heads out to confront Patrick. After Bo has left him, EJ beats up Patrick and he press charges against Bo for assault. So sweet to see Bo and Hope with their granddaughter, Claire. Though Victor sets up a fake kidnapping to make it look like Belle is unfit. He pays off a social worker and is able to get Phillip temporary custody. Brady family Christmas is enjoyed. EJ orders Patrick to get Hope out of town, and he kidnaps her at gunpoint. Bo finds her at a warehouse, just in time to deliver Hope’s baby. Patrick admits that Bo is the baby’s father! While they are choosing a name, Bo starts calling her “Doodlebug”. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #68 February 27 - June 11, 2007: 8 hour original edit
EJ coerces Willow into breaking into Bo & Hope’s and planting evidence to set up Chelsea for stealing Hope’s jewrely. She accident sets a fire and everyone gets out in time. Bo is furious and cuts her out of his life. Hope comes to the rescue and proves that Willow actually committed the crime clearing Chelsea, who begins to bond with Hope, and with Bo. Shawn & Belle have taken baby Claire on the run to avoid Phillip taking her away from them. EJ gets Billie to install Sentrycell home security which he then hacks to listen in on all of their conversations to try to learn where Shawn has gone. A brainwashed Steve has been committed to a psy hospital, and EJ’s goon gives him electric shock. Kayla & Bo & Adrienne help him escape. Bo heads to Tinda Lau and is reunited with Shawn, just as EJ is ordering Steve to kill Bo and using the Tarot card to control him. Steve soon shows up in Tinda Lau, and Bo believes he is there to kill Bo and Shawn and doesn’t trust him at all. Shawn is dropped off and boards the boat Phillip has taken Claire & Belle too.

Back on the island, Steve is about to kill Bo but Kayla arrives just in time to stop him. They are relieved after the boat shipwrecks that Shawn & Belle are rescued but tragically Baby Claire is determined to be missing and they are heartbroken when the search for her is called off. Sami gives B&H a letter from Stefano’s father explaining the vendetta against the Bradys. They show it to Doug & Julie when they return to town. Doug & Julie are going to open up Doug’s Place and access the tunnel under the club. Willow claims she is pregnant with Shawn’s baby, but after she is found murdered, Shawn waits at the PD with Bo for the results. Not a lot of B&H together, cute scenes as they enjoy their baby, but mostly Bo has scenes with Kayla and/or Steve as he is involved with Steve’s brainwashing storyline, Chelsea as she is framed - some good healing scenes between her and Hope as Chelsea is redeemed and truly becomes part of the Bradys. Hope is off quite a bit during this time frame but does have some good scenes especially with Chelsea. We get to see a little bit of Ciara as she is growing, cute scene with Shawn reunited with his baby sister though he is still desperate to find Baby Claire and is encouraged when evidence shows up that she may still be alive!

This edit is focused on all of Bo’s scenes and all of Hope’s scenes, but I did not go off on storyline tangents as they were involved in SO many storylines - EJ having Willow frame Chelsea (included a bit of that), Bo is involved in Steve’s brainwashing (but mainly focused on Bo’s role with each of them as I have edited all of S&K’s storyline separately for this time frame so didn’t want to duplicate that), and also a lot of Sami & EJ with Stefano as he returns to town that I felt was separate from B&H. So this one was a challenge, usually I follow the storyline but Bo was a supporting character for S&K, Chelsea/Willow, and a very little bit of Sami/EJ - but definitely does not follow all of those separate storylines. Starts off with Doug & Julie back on the show and front and center. They visit the old Doug’s Place with Bo & Hope and they reminisce about B&H’s early days complete with flashbacks. When they hear someone calling for help in the elevator shaft, Bo rushes to the rescue. They pull up a masked person who turns out to be Lexi! She has been held captive. She shakily confesses that she hit Bo over the head, not knowing it was him. Hope goes to the rescue and they search the tunnel. They find a picture of Colleen and realise she was a Brady and Sami looks exactly like her. They use a key to open a mysterious music box which activates a bomb. They attempt to diffuse it, John has joined them and they set it off. Turns out the bomb was just a warning to stop asking questions about Colleen and wasn’t meant to seriously injure.

The Bradys all gather at the Pub to ask Shawn questions that he doesn’t want to answer. Anna arrives with letters from Santa (Stefano’s father) to Colleen (her first appearance in over 20 years)! We see Sami and EJ act out their history as Bo, Hope, John, Marlena, Doug, Julie all follow along. Stefano has the letters from Colleen to Santo. Hope sneaks in and steals them and when Stefano catches her in the act, Steve arrives and pretends she is there to see him as he declares they are having an affair and starts awkwardly kissing her! The gang celebrate 4th of July at Bo & Hope’s and they continue reading the letters and relieving the history of Santo DiMera & Colleen Brady, that started Stefano’s feud against the Brady’s who he blames for her death.

Some cute scenes as Anna and Roman fight and Bo and Hope make bets on the outcome. Anna confirms that the man pretending to be Tony DiMera is really Andre. Bo and Roman come up with a plan to fake Stefano’s death to draw out Andre. It works a bit too well, as Andre kidnaps Roman and stashes him in a coffin! They group finish reading the letters and have a conclusion to the Santo and Colleen storyline. Shawn finally comes in and tells them the end of it and blames himself for her death. I decided to add in a #69C dvd to complete this storyline, so this edit is 12 hours and fits on three 4 hour dvds. Since there were so many flashback scenes telling the DiMera & Brady storyline, adding the extra dvd also provides some additional B&H storyline though the DiMera’s, Roman, and Steve keep him pretty busy though he does make time for a very brief pit stop in Vegas to see Chelsea and help Kayla rescue Stefanie. Bo & Hope #70 October 1 - December 19, 2007: 8 hour original edit
Andre has strapped a bomb to Roman and plans on killing him. Steve takes Stefano hostage at a tv station and warns Andre that if he kills Roman that Steve will kill Stefano. Andre, Bo, Hope all arrive at the station and Andre is able to take Hope hostage. Bo follows them to the roof and as they stand near the edge, Hope slips and falls over as Bo shoots Andre and he falls to his death. Bo is able to pull Hope back onto the roof for an emotional reunion. John is killed by a hit and run driver as the grief stricken Bradys say their goodbyes at his deathbed and then at his memorial. Next is Belle and Shawn’s wedding, though Hope worries after learning that Belle slept with Phillip. EJ is shot as he marries Sami, and Bo and Hope investigate who was the shooter: Kate, Lucas, Roman, Marlena are all suspects. At the end of the edit, Marlena and Hope find a letter with a picture of John as a little boy with a mystery woman who was not John’s mother. Bo & Hope #71 December 20, 2007 - February 18, 2008: 8 hour original edit
There is a LOT going on in this edit! This edit kicks off a surprise party to celebrate B&H’s Anniversary, Hope’s birthday on Christmas Eve. They soon celebrate Christmas at the Horton’s too. Marlena shocks Hope when she tells her a psychic informed her John is alive! They soon find him in Stefano’s basement and the gang rescue him. He doesn’t remember Marlena or anyone else as Stefano has extracted his memories and set him up for a mission to kill to exact his revenge. Next Belle and Claire are kidnapped. Belle is rescued, but Claire is taken to Ireland and the gang all follow the trail. They find that Aunt Colleen is still alive, and turns out she is John’s mother! Steve & Kayla soon arrive, bringing Pop Shawn with him and he is reunited with his sister. John has been sent to kill Colleen by Stefano, but she dies in his arms of natural causes. Claire is rescued and the gang all board John’s plane to return to Salem.

Kayla tells Bo that his blood work shows a potentially life threatening illness. He never gets around to telling Hope. He wants to wait for more tests and to get more information, but she picks up on the secrecy and demands that Kayla tell her what is going on? They are distracted when the plane is sabotaged and the pilots are drugged. The ride gets very bumped as they are heading for a crash landing and there aren’t enough oxygen masks for everyone! John knocks Marlena out, pulls out a knife and tries to kill Colleen. She stops him by telling him that she is his mother. Colleen fills John in on his family history. She shows him the locket he was wearing in a picture of himself as a baby. John walks away from his mission, and Bo heads out to find him. Bo finds him in the woods and stops him from killing himself. Soon they all gather around Colleen and she dies in John’s arms. They have a memorial, and we see Colleen joining Santo in the hereafter as their ghosts reunite.

Steve notices the mystery woman at the airport and chases after her again. Steve and Kayla tell Bo that there is a very serious problem with his test results and he needs to get back to Salem ASAP for further testing. He tries to tell Hope but never gets around to it. Soon the plane hits severe turbulence, and John realizes the plane has been sabotaged and the pilots have been drugged! In another interesting bit of history, Chelsea runs into Victor and Caroline together in the park. She asks them about Bo’s birth and they tell her their story. The plane is headed towards a crash landing, as everyone on board struggles to share oxygen and deal with the turbulence. It is revealed that Bo is very sick, and Shawn Sr. insists on giving his son his own oxygen to keep him alive. Back in Salem, Abe, Roman, Stephanie, Chelsea are soon joined by Caroline Brady as they all wait terrified for news of their loved ones. The end of the edit is the aftermath of the plane crash. Bo & Hope #72 February 18 - April 7, 2008: 8 hour original edit
This edit is action packed with one situation after another. First up is the aftermath of the plane crash, and the survivors are rescued. Once back in Salem, Shawn Sr.’s funeral and then wake at the Brady Pub. Just the family is grieving the loss of Shawn Sr., Bo is in the hospital and very ill as his pancreas is failing for unknown reasons. His family gathers around him, as Kayla and Lexie work feverishly to save him. Hope is heartbroken over the possibility of losing her soul mate. Chelsea is found to be a donor match and is Bo’s only chance! They rush to find the missing Chelsea, who has gone out to drown her sorrows and gets plastered. She passes out in the park as everyone desperately looks for her. Shawn finds her and calls Dr. Daniel and they get her to the hospital.

Bo tries to refuse the surgery as he doesn’t want to risk his daughter’s life but his loved ones will not hear of him dying. The transplant is successful, and some sweet scenes between Chelsea and Bo in the aftermath. Just as all is well in Salem, Hope is kidnapped by Steve’s ex. Ava has come to believe that Hope is Steve’s pregnant wife, Kayla. Ava calls Steve and uses “Kayla” as leverage over him. Steve tells Bo what has befallen his wife but warns him not to involve the police that Steve will take care of it and rescue Hope. Steve tries to charm Ava into releasing Hope by trying to convince her that he wants to be with Ava instead, as they are both held at gunpoint. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #73 April 7 - July 25, 2008: 8 hour original edit
Ava continues to hold Steve and Hope hostage (she believes Hope is Kayla). A worried Bo and Kayla are both in the hospital and worrying about their spouses who have disappeared. They come up with a plan to rescue Steve and Hope. Bo uses an informant to track them to the Vitali compound. Once there they rush in for the rescue. All too soon Ava arrives and shoots Hope and takes Bo and a pregnant Kayla hostage. Roman and Abe grow concerned over their missing loved ones and track Bo’s movements with the same informant. Bo gets loose and frees Hope, and they go after Steve and Kayla. Roman and Abe arrive just in time with reinforcements. Ava is arrested, and Bo soon threatens her mob boss father, who is eventually killed in a shoot out.

Ciara is now an adorable little girl with dark hair and big eyes, cute scenes with her and Bo and Hope. The Bradys celebrate 4th of July at Bo and Hope’s, with a dressed in costume Doug and Julie. Bo is horrified by Chelsea’s relationship with Daniel, and Doug and Julie seem to enjoy his discomfort. Victor has a stroke and everyone worries about him. Bo finds evidence that his half brother, Phillip, threatened Paul’s life when he finds the threat recorded on an audio cassette. When the upset from Phillip’s situation threatens Victor’s health, Bo turns the tape over to Victor and later Phillip swears to Bo that he didn’t kill Paul. Bo struggles to deal with withholding evidence in a crime, the disappearance of Paul Hollingsworth that he has been investigating. Hope is upset with Bo as she knows he is keeping something from her. Marlena, Kayla, Caroline all become concerned about Bo’s odd behaviour. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #74 July 25, 2008 - January 2, 2009: 8 hour original edit
Bo has a surprise for Hope as the ladies arrive to help her get ready. As they take a walk down memory lane, with a ton of flashbacks. Hope realizes Bo is surprising her with a wedding! She soon finds a horse drawn carriage to take them both to the church. These scenes are filled with flashbacks as they look back on their history and during the ceremony. Sweet moment as Steve & Kayla pay tribute to them, more flashbacks. Hope and Caroline worry that Bo is in trouble. Hope thinks he is withholding evidence in the Paul Hollingsworth disappearance/murder. Bo had hidden a tape of Phillip threatening Paul at Victor’s request, as he was recovering from a stroke in the hospital. Paul later turns up alive and Bo is exonerated since Paul wasn’t murdered and there wasn’t a crime. Stefano resurfaces after he comes out of his coma.

Abe leaves as Police Commissioner and holds a press conference to appointment Hope for the job. She turns it down. Caroline is found in the cemetary screaming holding a bloody knife that she just removed out of Trent’s back. (He is Max’s bio dad and a nasty piece of work). She is arrested and Bo and Hope take the lead on the murder investigation. They work closely together and finally solve the case and free Caroline! Abe becomes the next mayor of Salem, and Bo agrees to take on the job as Commissioner. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #75 January 3 - August 17, 2009: 8 hour original edit
Psychic Bo has visions that come true. Bo’s next vision is of Theo falling down the stairs at the DiMera mansion. He orders an ambulance and heads over there before anyone even calls the PD. Bo’s next vision is of Kayla being shot at the hospital and involved Hope. He and Steve agreed to keep the ladies apart to keep them safe. Kayla calls Hope and when she arrives at the hospital. The killer patient takes Kayla hostage just as Bo predicted and Hope winds up shooting Kayla by mistake. She is devastated and becomes furious with Bo that he didn’t tell her about this vision. She moves out briefly while she deals with the trauma of the shooting. Hope is suspended from the PD, though it isn’t too much longer before Abe reports she has been reinstated. Hope soon moves back in and Bo promises to tell her about any future visions. This is soon put to the test when he has a vision of her sleeping with another man.

He is suspicious and jealous of time she spends with Dr Daniel, and then opposes Rafe joining the PD. He does tell Hope about this vision which she thinks is ridiculous. Bo soon sees that it is Roman she sleeps with, and Bo tries to keep them apart. They do a stake out together and it is the date of the newspaper he sees in his vision. When he rushes to the scene, he realizes this vision was wrong. Chelsea leaves town and Bo and Hope say their goodbyes to her. Bo and Hope are involved in searching for kidnapped Stephanie. After she is rescued, they investigate Chloe’s poisoning. Their memories and pain of Zach’s death surface after Baby Grace dies and then attend her funeral. Hope’s anonymous donation of $500k is leaked and is a feature in the paper. Hope’s concerns over this loss of privacy are valid as it does draw the attention of a kidnapper. Bo begins having visions of a missing Ciara and finding her teddy bear. They celebrate Ciara’s birthday with a picnic party in the park. Ciara is stalked and watched and the kidnapper takes any opportunity to approach her and build a friendship. When the opportunity arises, he gets her to go off with him. Bo and Hope are desperate to find their baby girl, they search the park and mobilize the police department’s resources. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #76 August 17 - December 18, 2009: 8 hour original edit
The B&H #76A contains the conclusion of the Ciara kidnapping storyline. This is a very dramatic, very suspenseful storyline. Bo has a psychic flash of Ciara dying if they turn over the ransom and he refuses to do so. Hope is terrified for her daughter’s safety and begs him to cooperate with the kidnappers. He is adamant that it will get their baby killed and instead he threatens to use the ransom money to come after the kidnappers instead as Hope looks on horrified. After Ciara is safely rescued, there is one more dramatic sequence when Ciara recognises officer Daniels and he takes her and Hope hostage. Great storyline, very intense and suspenseful! Hope is able to communicate her distress to Justin when he shows up at the door, and he comes in through the kitchen but the kidnapper knocks him out. He comes too in time to call Bo who can hear the events going on at his home and he rushes in to save the day. Hope takes Ciara and leaves the house, and then tells Bo she is moving out for awhile to give them some space.

Victor invites her to stay with him, and interesting to see how strongly Victor admires Hope and is so encouraging for Bo and Hope to reunite. Victor brings Carly up out of the blue and really trashes her to Bo. He is so NOT a fan! Hope realizes she has made a huge mistake after Carly returns to town and turns to Bo for help after she murdered her husband and Vivian’s people are out to kill her. Victor turns Carly in and she is arrested, though soon she is released into Bo’s custody. Soon Vivian comes to town after she has someone else take the fall for Lawrence’s murder and all charges are dismissed. Vivian would prefer to get revenge on Carly, slow and painfully. Vivian gets Hope to confide in her that Carly is a problem for her marriage and Vivian offers her support and help anytime Hope needs it. This edit ends as Hope kisses Bo and tells him how much she loves him. He admits that he loves her too, but sadly that no longer seems to be enough and Hope runs out of the house. Bo & Hope #77 December 21, 2009 - April 14, 2010: 9 hours on three dvds
I continued to include all of Hope’s scenes and all of Bo’s scenes (including those with Carly), but I did not include all of Carly’s separate storyline/scenes on the B&H series. This edit contains some wonderful performances as the Hortons deal with Mickey’s death. Hope reaches out to Bo and tells him she needs him, and he comforts her at the pub. Though sadly she realizes he has slept with Carly and is broken hearted. Bo shows up at Maggie’s to pay his respect and as Hope breaks down, he takes her in his arms. Hope is able to open Vivian’s puzzle box and learns the big secret that Carly had a baby who Lawrence vowed to destroy. Hope thinks the father is Bo. Ciara hates Carly and cuts up her clothes. Soon Hope returns to work at the PD.

Kate informs Hope of Vivian’s obsession with Melanie and she believes she is at risk. Ciara soon tells Hope that Melanie is Carly’s daughter. Carly is kidnapped from the hospital, and Hope intercepts a text from Carly to Bo telling him where she is, Hope heads to the rescue. She had learned that Victor’s plan to substitute the poisoned tiara to foil Vivian’s plot to murder Melanie on her wedding day. Hope and Carly are both knocked out by falling crates. Bo rushes to the rescue and finds an unconscious Hope. He tenderly holds her in his arms and goes to the hospital with her, staying by her side. Carly has arrived at the mansion and finds Vivian trying to kill Melanie. Carly pulls the gun on Vivian and shoots Melanie by mistake. She continues to threaten Carly and Bo warns Victor that he has had enough and if Victor doesn’t put a stop to Vivian then Bo will kill her. Victor asks Vivian to marry him in exchange for ending her vendetta as he is afraid Bo will go to jail for murder if he doesn't rein Vivian in. One of the best parts of the story is Vivian's vendetta against Carly. The February storyline is quite good, lots of drama and action. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #78 April 15 - August 2, 2010: 8 hour original edit
This edit begins just after Justin has been attacked. This is the first time we see Nighttime Hope. Bo is out of town for the first 5 weeks of this edit, so the beginning of this focuses on Hope’s NTH storyline. When Bo returns, his storyline begins to focus on Ciara as Hope is growing more concerned over the “stories” Ciara is making up and turns to Bo for help and support, meanwhile Hope is leading her double life. Just feels like the focus of his storyline is beginning to shift more towards his concern for Hope and for Ciara. The best is when Hope learns Alice is dying and immediately heads over to see Bo. Two long scenes as he holds her and she sobs in his arms and Carly walks in and finds them together. He is then worrying about Hope and goes to see her at Alice's offering his help for anything she might need. The way she looks at him as he is saying goodbye.. her heart in her eyes, her love and longing for him. So obvious that he is still in love with her, and drawn to her and the Hortons around Alice’s death (and Carly is nowhere around)!

Justin, Adrienne, and Carly all come across the medicated Hope’s altar and go to Bo with their concerns. Hope drugs Bo’s coffee and tries to kill him but he doesn’t remember anything. These scenes are amazing as Hope pours out all of her anger, hurt and pain. Dr. Baker calls the police to stop Hope from killing Bo. Ciara tells Bo about Mommy’s treasures, they are wallets from men she knows - Uncle Abe, Uncle Roman, Uncle Justin. Hope calls and wants to see Bo, as she hides a knife in the couch.The work Kristen does is absolutely amazing! The layers of how she differentiated Hope and her altar was so incredibly well done.. very subtle. The differences in hair and make up were so well done and helped create an identifiable second character, but the work she did as an actress creating different ways of carrying herself and speaking was mesmerising just watching her work. Those confrontation scenes were phenomenal, wow those scenes were INTENSE!

Note: Bo is out of town from April 8 - May 19th. There are some kissy face scenes with Carly when he first returns but no more sex scenes, only one scene of them in bed together but no making out and they are talking about Hope. I did not include Carly’s separate scenes as she is mostly at the hospital, involved with Daniel, Chloe, and Melanie and her storyline has really moved away from her relationship with Bo and she has a much bigger storyline that does not involve Bo and she keeps it all from him. Bo & Hope #79 August 2, 2010 - January 3, 2011: 8 hour original edit
This edit is all about Bo & Hope. He is technically still with Carly, but his heart is with his wife now. He arrives at the house to meet with her and she pulls a knife on him and tries to kill him. He realizes he is dealing with someone that is not Hope, and records her confession of everything that she had done from the muggings to trying to kill him. She pours her heart out to him how he “killed her”. After she passes out exhausted, Bo sits by her side and moans with grief over what he has done to her. In the morning, Bo plays the tape for Hope and she is utterly horrified to realise what she has done. Bo blames the sleeping medication for her actions, but Hope will not make any excuses. Julie comes over to watch Ciara but is frightened to learn something is very very wrong. They go to the PD together as she confesses. When Doug arrives, Julie tells him their daughter is in trouble and it is very bad. Bo insists on being with Hope and refuses to leave her side, he just ravaged at what has happened to her and blames himself, and is in complete agony over her suffering. He is unable to think about anything or anyone else (other than Ciara).

The scenes at the PD, as Roman is so sweet to her, Julie visits, then Doug, Lexie, Brady are all so sweet to her. When Bo comes in and overhears EJ attacking Hope, Bo warns him to back off of HIS WIFE, as Hope looks at Bo in surprise at this declaration. Hope accepts responsibility and doesn’t want to fight the charges, doesn’t want to have the best attorney, she just wants to go to jail. Julie worries that she is so depressed and Abe tries to get her to fight for Ciara. At her hearing, Justin, Abe, and then Bo all testify as her victims but on her behalf asking for leniency. Bo lays out the effect the medications had on her, and his part in causing this situation, though Hope never blames him for her actions. Bo promises to be there for her whatever her sentence is. The prosecutor wants 30 years behind bars, but all the testimony on her behalf leads the judge to give her only a two year sentence. Hope tries to say goodbye to Bo, but he tells her this is not goodbye, he will see her soon. His relationship with Carly takes a shift as well… like NO romantic scenes at all.. no real kissing on the #79A, maybe a peck to say hello and maybe one kiss on the #79B. There is one scene when they are in bed together, BOTH fully clothed.. and both fall asleep fully clothed with absolutely no romance as Bo talks about Hope. Carly just quietly stares at him as he goes on and on about how worried he is about Hope, and all he talks about from August onward is Hope and/or Ciara. When Carly is infested and quarantined with a virus, he is concerned as a friend but not grief stricken.

Hope learns that patients are being killed so their in demand organs are trafficked to patients in need. When Hope trusts the warden with the info, they decide to move her out of the prison in a transfer so she can be eliminated. She is forced to write a letter and she gives Bo a clue that she is in trouble. Bo breaks Hope out of prison as he finds her beaten. When he picks her up to carry her out, she passes out. He takes her to an off the grid cabin to hide out. They begin rebuilding trust as he asks her to trust him, and she realizes he had trusted her cop instincts. Jennifer goes undercover at the prison to try to help Bo & Hope. Ciara spends Christmas with Doug & Julie in a traditional Horton celebration, though she is very upset when Santa does not bring her parents home like she requested. Bo & Hope #80 January 4 - July 7, 2011: 8 hour original edit
This is such a good time frame for B&H! They are hiding out as they try to figure out their next move. They start to take their first steps back towards each other as Hope is touched that Bo got her message and believed her. He asks her to trust him as well. Bo is soon taken captive by the warden and we find Stefano is the master mind and the doc has been working for him. Jennifer goes undercover at the prison to try to help Bo & Hope. Jennifer recruits Carly to go the prison to get ahold of the original records and Carly realizes the inmates were being killed to harvest their organs. Jen overhears that Bo will be killed that night and warns Hope who rushes to the rescue. The police arrive and they are all taken into custody. Bo’s testimony helps get Hope released for time served and she is able to return home! Bo & Carly confirm they are split up, though has been obvious for months that Bo’s only thoughts are about Hope. Bo & Hope reunite and make love. One of my fav scenes is the three of them just sitting on the couch finally back together, eating popcorn and watching tv. So sweet!

Ciara believes she is the reason her parents had problems. She decides the only way they will be happy is if she runs away and she talks Theo into joining her. They find Ciara’s necklace on a homeless girl and she gives them the clues to send Bo in the right direction. The children had some across Fake Rafe in the woods, and he gets rough with them just as Bo finds them. Everyone thinks Rafe is a hero for finding them but Theo rats him out for being mean to them. Bo and Hope learn that there is a Rafe imposter. Sami and Rafe take the imposter captive and Bo learns what they are up to. They form a plan to trick Stefano, and set up a bug at the DiMera home.

Bo & Hope #81 July 7 - November 2, 2011: 8 hour original edit
This edit begins with the conclusion of the fake Rafe storyline. He is arrested and then murdered before he can testify against Stephano. Maggie is shot as Stephano is taking his revenge against Victor (after Brady had attacked EJ on a previous edit). Hope is horrified to learn that they have to take Maggie off of life support per her living will. They fear she will be unable to breathe on her own and die, but she begins breathing and will live! This leads to Stephano and Victor agreeing to peace. They celebrate her survival! Bo and Hope immediately move on to the prostitute killer storyline. Bo enjoys working with Hope and declares they are the perfect team. Quinn is set up but Bo and Hope realise that Gus is the real killer, he is Vivian’s henchman and even she is horrified.

We are gifted with Bo and Hope having a romantic morning in bed, complete with breakfast and having time home alone together. Cute scenes as they work a case and Bo looks up and sees Hope working, he stops what he is doing to go tell her how much he loves her. Fun scenes as Bo is impatiently waiting for PD DNA results, and Hope arrives barring bags of food samples from the recommended caterer for the Town Square Party and the sampling begins! Its nice to see them have some lighter fun moments. Soon they solve the latest killer storyline and it is Gus, Vivian’s henchman just in time to make Salem safe again as they are planning the big Horton Town Square party. Bradys and Hortons are buzzing with what guest surprises Hope has planned and won’t tell anyone about. So many heartfelt episodes on the #81B, so good. This is Days at its absolute best! Remembering their history, family connections, and fun and romance. B&H deserved these tribute episodes and loving moments to heal their relationship after the writers were so unfair to them and fans in early 2010.

Bo surprises hope with a box of memorabilia at the Horton’s and this leads them to recall their past adventures together including their royal wedding in England. They are soon joined by Maggie and Jennifer and Doug & Julie as they continued to remember the love Tom and Alice shared with all who entered their lives, friends and family alike. These episodes were the tribute and shared connection over Alice between Bo & Hope that should have occurred after her death in June, 2010. Hope is the host for the Town Square dedication that is enjoyed over several episodes. She looks gorgeous and is just glowing as she invites the town to enjoy the new square. Abe unveils the square plaque dedicated to Alice and Tom from a grateful community. First she introduces Carrie and Austin’s return to the thrilled audience. Then as Bo & Hope dance together he tells her how amazing she is, that no matter if she is throwing a huge party or has a perp in a choke hold, she is always the most elegant woman in the room. He whisks her around the dance floor, with a dramatic dip and twirl as the crowd cheers them on.

Then it is time for the big announcement of John & Marlena’s return, as John arrives wheelchair bound to a huge ovation. (Note: They were written off the show 2 1/2 years earlier as the show faced massive budget cuts and possible cancellation). Marlena takes the mic and shares their difficult journey during John’s rehab and he wows the audience when he gets up out of the wheelchair showing he is no longer paralysed. Jennifer and Maggie also joined Hope in paying tribute to this iconic couple. Hope reads one of Tom’s poems, and Abe pays his tribute. Doug and Julie take the stage next and sing, “Always” as the Salem couples dance. When Bo and Hope return to the Hortons to bring the donuts, Hope finds a stack of bank statements showing a hidden bank account that had been active for over 20 years. The next heartfelt moment is when Victor surprises everyone with a wedding proposal to Maggie in the middle of the party. Hope reveals that Victor had asked her and Jenn for their permission to marry her.

As Bo and Hope search through the Horton family home, Hope finds a letter that Alice had written to Maggie. It reveals that Alice had done some digging to later find out what had happened to Maggie’s donated egg and she found out that one of them had been used and a woman had given birth to a child from Maggie’s egg, a child Maggie never knew about. Bo and Hope helped her track the egg implantation to a fertility clinic but they refused to provide any information citing privacy rules. Bo and Hope return late at night and sneak in and are able to learn the name of the woman who used Maggie’s eggs on her own (we find out Victor arranged that though no one knows about his involvement). The woman gave birth to a son nine months later. There is a fun in full costume Halloween party at the pub, with Bo and Hope in pirate garb. Bo scares the kids with a spooky story. Later in the town square, Melanie overhears mention of her grandmother’s name, Lillian Parker, she identifies her and then confirms that yes Daniel’s birthday is on December 18th. Maggie and Melanie are thrilled to realise Daniel is her missing child, and Melanie is her granddaughter. Maggie hesitantly tells Daniel though he is in denial of course and determines a DNA test is in order. At the end of the edit, as Bo and Hope continue to search through old boxes at Alice’s, Bo comes across a baby picture that Hope doesn’t recognise as being a Horton. Bo & Hope #82 November 3, 2011 - March 12, 2012: 8 hour original edit

Bo surprises Hope with a private vow renewal ceremony, just the two of them taking advantage of the highly decorated Kirikis mansion (in preparation for the Victor & Maggie wedding). The next day, close family gathered for Victor’s wedding to Maggie. The town is hit by an ice storm and many guests are unable to attend, even Bo & Hope are called away for the emergency road situation. As John is getting ready to go to trial on the set up charges, a sniper opens fire on the pub. During the chaos, little Johnny goes missing. The Bradys search everywhere for him as Sami is grief stricken until the boy is found hiding. Bo and Hope get the Christmas decorations down, determined to have a wonderful Brady Christmas since they didn’t have one the previous year (and actually it was TWO years!). They find Zach’s ornament and get emotional remembering their son. They share their grief together for the first time in a long time. Then find a note tucked in the ornament granting a favour from Stefano Dimera. The Horton’s and their ever expanding family gathered to decorated the family tree in the Horton living room, then they celebrate in the new town square as Abe leads the tree lighting ceremony.

Bo knocks the dedication plaque, it falls and breaks revealing a safety deposit box key. They trick Stefano into revealing he has the other key. He and Alice each had blackmail on each other and the sealed envelopes are in the bank vault. Stefano agrees to use his key and give Hope the information he had against the Horton’s. He wants the info Alice had on him but he doesn’t know what is in that envelope. Hope learns that her and John were married during her Princess Gina days, meaning her marriage to Bo and his marriage to Marlena are not legal! Stefano is devastated when he reads what is in his envelope and cries tears of grief, though the audience does not learn the information. John & Hope travel to Alemania to annul their marriage. It is a two week process. While they are waiting there, Bo & Roman are attacked. Bo almost dies but Kayla revives him, though he remains in critical condition in the hospital. Hope is desperate to get home to her husband and her and John try to steal their passports from the government office so they can leave the country. Just as they are about to be caught in the act by the local police, Stefano arrives and offers them safe passage. Billie returns to town and stays by Bo’s side when she learns Hope is out of the country. Hope finally is able to reach the hospital and she is shocked to hear Billie answer the phone. As they are talking, Bo crashes and Billie starts yelling for help as a terrified Hope tries to get information about what is going on! Billie yells that they are losing him, just as the edit ends. Bo & Hope #83 March 13 - June 20, 2012:
Prayer mass for injured Bo who remains in a coma. Hope is desperate to get home to Bo, and her and John try to break into the government office that is holding their passports. Stefano first comes to their rescue before they can be arrested, then has them kidnapped from their hotel room. He threatens to kill them if they don’t help him. Stefano admits he is responsible for Bo’s attack, and then threatens Marlena. He had them steal the Anastasia Egg during their Pawn & Princess Gina days together, but they never turned it over to him. He turns them back into The Princess & The Pawn, and they have a fun little romp as they retrieve the egg. John sees a photo of Marlena, and all of his memories come rushing back. He shows her a photo of Bo and her memories as Hope return as well. They realise that Stefano is after a coin hidden inside of the egg and they substitute with a fake coin.

Stefano has John & Hope held at the airport. Agent Spencer arrives just in time to help them get away and arranges a private flight home. Hope soon appears at Bo’s bedside. She begins talking to him and reminding him of special moments in their lives together, complete with flashbacks. Bo soon wakes up and they are reunited! He is soon released and they return home. Stefano arranges a fake attack on Marlena as a warning to them. They all go into a safe house, though Agent Harmon is working for Stefano and he orders him to take care of them all! The gang realize that a bomb has been set to explode. They try to diffuse the bomb but it sets the timer off and the countdown begins! Shane and Roman lead everyone in Salem to believe that Bo, Hope, Marlena, John, Carrie, and Rafe have all died. They grieve for their friends and family at The Pub and even hold a memorial. Everyone is overjoyed when they are finally clued it that no one died. This kicks off a Stefano murder mystery as several Salemites threaten him with a gun, and one finally ends his life. Lexie is terminally ill and she passes away at the end of this edit as Bo and Hope are there supporting her, Abe, and Theo. Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #84 June 25, 2012 - January 30, 2013 (6 hours so far): 12 Hour Original Edit
This edit goes through Bo’s fall 2012 departure and then covers highlights of Hope & Ciara’s storyline through 2014. Lexi’s friends gather at the pub after her memorial (not shown on screen). Abe hosts a fundraiser for a new foundation he set up in Lexi’s honor to fund autism research. During the event an underground explosion shattered glass, and sent guests flying. Daniel and Bo work to free Nicole who is trapped under the rubble. Jack “dies” in an elevator crash. EJ tips off Bo & Hope to a kidnapping who are shocked to find Stefano alive. Bo & Hope are involved investigating Melanie’s kidnaping, and Hope is involved with Nick’s parole hearing. Roman, Bo, and Kayla become aware of Caroline’s memory issues. Caroline is very resistant to getting help and in denial until she has no choice but to accept something is happening to her. The Brady children dealing with their mom’s mental decline is quite touching.

Bo has final scenes with Roman, Kayla, Abe, John, Marlena, Hope and Ciara as he leaves town to seek treatment for Caroline in LA. I included all of Bo and all of Hope’s scenes up through his departure. Caroline returns in time for Christmas and Bo with her though he is unseen and only referred to. Hope and Ciara join Bo, Shawn, Belle and Claire for Christmas (though they are unseen). There was a couple of hours open so decided to continue to include scenes as Bo would call home during 2013, how much Ciara missed her daddy and Hope as a single mom growing increasingly frustrated with Bo’s choices. I decided to continue adding in Hope & Ciara scenes as they talk about Bo, get a phone call or a letter. This shows the passage of time and the impact on them of him being gone for so long. Aidan is introduced in late Jan, 2014.

I did not include the Aidan & Hope scenes as felt like that would be a separate storyline edit. My idea was to show the time leading up to Hope filing for a divorce in fall 2014, so Aidan creeps into the edit later in 2014. His dead wife’s BFF warns Hope against getting involved with him, that it would be a “lethal mistake”. I originally planned on skipping ahead to Bo's return, but realized I wanted to offer the murder mystery of what happened to Aidan's wife, and Hope's suspicions about him and how her instincts were correct, just her heart wanted to believe all of his excuses. So the Aidan portion is highly edited on the #84C but enough to lead into Bo's return on the #85A.

Bo & Hope #85 September 8 - November 9, 2015: 8 hour original edit
This edit kicks off as Steve has returned to town and starts questioning where Bo is. When Victor shows him Bo’s letter, he recognises that it is a fake just as we see Bo being held captive. Aidan proposing to Hope is transposed against Bo being tortured in captivity. Steve begins his journey in his search for Bo as Hope and Aidan begin making wedding plans. It is revealed that Aidan is working for Stefano, as Steve turns to John for help. Their search leads them to Britta’s daughter who laid the trap to lure Bo to Cancun. Steve follows the trail and finds Bo’s cell just after he has been removed. He finds a computer with a video of Bo being killed and he is devastated. He returns to Salem and tells Victor that Bo is dead, just as Bo has escaped from his captors.

Caroline begins having psychic visions and she is able to tell Steve exactly where Bo is and insists he is in danger and needs help. Steve returns to Cancun and is captured and he and Bo are thrown into the same cell together, happy to be reunited. Steve warns Bo that Hope is about to marry another man and the race is on. They are able to escape and make it back to Victor’s jet, they crash in a storm, are arrested, and then escape from jail finally heading back to Salem. Hope is busy planning her wedding, bridal shower with a fireman stripper, festivities at the Martin Mansion for the Bicentinel celebration. Bo is desperate to find Hope and when she doesn’t answer her phone, he calls Caroline who is thrilled to hear Bo is heading home! He asks her to do everything she can to stop Hope’s wedding, but no one believes her when she tries to tell them that Bo is alive.

When Bo arrives later at the mansion, he is devastated when Caroline cries that she failed him as Hope married another man. He rushes to their home. Hope has spent her wedding night with her new husband and then he turns into the necktie killer and strangles her until she passes out! Bo arrives to see Hope laying lifeless. He struggles with Aidan over the gun, and Aidan is shot and killed. Bo performs CPR and brings Hope back to life. She is shocked and amazed to see Bo holding her in his arms. She then sees Aidan’s lifeless body and cries in her agony, “WHY!!!” Click here to read the full description.

Bo & Hope #86 November 9, 2015 - February 15, 2017: 8 hour original edit
This edit covers Bo’s return to Salem and being reunited with Hope. She is in shock and dealing with the aftermath of Aidan’s attempt to kill her on their wedding night. Kayla, Roman, Caroline, Victor, Doug, Julie, and Shawn D. are all thrilled with Bo’s return. His concern is for Hope’s well being and he won’t leave her side. When Hope is released from the hospital, he takes her home and they have some family time with Ciara. Chase accuses Bo of being a murderer. When Bo has symptoms, he agrees to have Kayla run tests on him. Kayla sadly has to tell him that he is dying from a brain tumour. Steve finds Bo in the park, and they share their grief together over Bo’s diagnosis as Steve cries. Bo turns to Victor and asks him to look out for Hope. When Bo tries to tell Hope, he just can’t bring himself to do so as she has already been through so much.

Bo & Hope spend the night together in their bed and make love. Bo does notice how much Rafe cares for Hope. Bo tells Rafe about his illness and he asks Rafe to look out after Hope and his kids after he is gone. The Bradys through a surprise Welcome Home Party for Bo at the pub, with stories told and a few flashbacks. When Ciara suggests that Bo & Hope have Abe renew their vows at the party, Bo runs out. Hope follows him to the park and they talk a walk down memory lane with a series of classic. Later at home, Caroline tells Ciara stories about her parents, also with flashbacks. Bo finally tells Hope that he is dying and they cling to each other in their final moments together. They kiss one last time and Bo dies in Hope’s arms. When Hope calls, Steve & Kayla rush to the park and stay with Hope as the ambulance comes to take Bo away. Kayla goes to the pub and tells her family, and Steve informs Victor. When Hope returns home, she sees Bo’s ghost. Caroline toasts to her son on Thanksgiving as Bo’s ghost lingers nearby.

I added the Bradys grieving for Bo, through his funeral, and Christmas scenes as the ornaments are hung on the Horton Christmas tree. Hope vows vengeance on whoever was responsible for kidnapping Bo and denying medical treatment that could have saved his life. She fixates on Malcolm and offers him $500k for information on who was behind the plot. At their assigned meeting spot, Hope finds a tv with video playing of Ciara being held and tied up. Hope is desperate to protect her daughter. Rafe and Hope both come to the conclusion that Stefano was behind both Bo’s and Ciara’s kidnappings. In a rage, she confronts Stefano and as he mocks her, she shoots him multiple times. Rafe arrives to find Stefano’s dead body and plans the cover up with Hope. I added Hope giving Ciara Bo’s mustang for her 16th birthday. Caroline being sure that Victor’s brother, Deimos, was behind Bo’s kidnapping. Hope fears she shot the wrong man. In quite the shocker, a not at all dead Aidan arrives at Hope’s. Through flashbacks we learn that he couldn’t go through with killing Hope, so Andre replaced him with a look alike assassin. I also added one of my favourite episodes, Hope’s dream. Bo returns to her and they have their last dance together. She also sees Larry Welch, and Stefano makes an appearance. I then wrapped up with Aidan getting a recording of Hope admitting she shot Stefano, Andre playing it at a ceremony honouring Hope, she confesses to murder. On the anniversary of Bo’s death, his sisters and brother visit his grave and pay their respects as Shawn & Ciara visits Hope in prison. The edit concludes as Shane tells the gang that Stefano is alive! He is finally arrested and we see him in jail at long last. Then in quite the shocker, Shane & Steve discuss their plot (that we see in flashbacks) of them moving Stefano’s body, and Shane dressing up in a fat suit in Prague. He is arrested and the gang has closure as they revel in Hope being released soon. The last scene is Hope arriving at Steve & Kayla’s valentine’s wedding, free at last! "Bo & Hope: Through the Years" Soapnet Marathon: 8 hrs
Soapnet aired six classic B&H episodes in their six hour marathon with comments by Kirsten & Peter. I added 2 1/2 more episodes of additional scenes and I added Peter Reckell on "One Day With Wally" and a few B&H bloopers. Episodes:

• 1/3/84 Bo and Hope's attempt to make love falls short when her father, Doug Williams, walks in and has a heart attack.

• 5/30 (Partial) & 5/31/84 (no commercials): These two episodes I added that were not part of the soapnet marathon but this was one of my favorite moments when Bo finds out that Hope is scheduled to marry Larry and races to the church to stop her.

• 6/01/84 Bo arrives at the church to rescue Hope from her wedding to Larry.  Everyone is surprised when Larry lifts Hope's veil at the altar, and reveals the bride to be is Bo's pal Howie. Extra: Montage of the wedding scenes.

• 5/23/85 Bo and Hope marry in grand style in England.

• 4/06/87 Hope gives birth to Shawn Douglas.  While on the way to the hospital, Bo steals a car and is nearly arrested.

• 7/13/90 Ernesto Toscano has Bo & Hope (among others) trapped on an island.  He captures and suspends Hope above a vat of acid. She says a heartfelt and heartbreaking goodbye to Bo before the cage blows up.

• 5/31/02 It's the day of Zack's christening and Bo and Hope are waiting to learn if Bo is actually his real father! They learn he is and happily announce this news to family and friends.

• 6/8/16 Hope’s Dream Episode: Bo visits her and they share a Last Dance together. The entire episode is Hope's. I added this one as seemed like a great one to end this marathon on, their last scenes together! Sigh!
